we had a lovely stay in the property. There was a stream right behind the stay and the sound of water gushing pleasantly drowned out any noise that rarely came from the main Street. Naoki had stashed a lot of food, yogurt and bread for us. He was kind enough to take us to Takayama and let us experience traditional Japanese archery. we stayed at Naoki's property for 3 days and enjoyed every bit of the stay and the village.

I stayed at Soku San and Gao's sharehouse and had a pleasant welcome and accommodating. The house is wooden style, very clean and nice and the room was with traditional bedding. I had to ask the host for an additional futon for sleeping on tatami was a bit hard for me. Soku San proposed paid breakfast for only ¥300. Kanazawa surroundings can be accessed easily walking or with loop busses. I recommend the Kenrokuen gardens and the castle grounds park. And food market Omicho. Stay at this place was great and Shiba inu is cute!

Our stay at Kon-san and Yumiko-san's was a memorable one. Kon-san is an incredible and passionate person, with a rare generosity, a very inspiring person. We didn't miss anything, everything was perfect. His house bears a little of his history, all the objects have been chosen with care and he likes to tell their story and we like to listen to him! We shared a lot and laughed a lot. Kon-san made us taste very good sake and Yumiko-san made us an incredible breakfast!! After two days, we leave with a little sadness in our hearts, but we will return in two years! It was an incredible human encounter, we are very grateful to have met Kon-san and Yumiko-san. We wish them the best.

This place is an absolute gem .Yoko San and family are really lovely and very welcoming and kind people, they welcomed me and made me feel completely at home. I was lucky to have dinner and breakfast with the family, and Yoko San made some lovely home made Japanese traditional food. Overall, very happy I booked this place, and will come back if I am visiting again. The place is a lovely 2 floor cottage, with the bedroom upstairs. Wide and spacious, lots of sunlight and the windows on all sides, with beautiful views of the farm lands and rolling hills. The place is beautifully decorated and very homely.
