The first thing to mention was how friendly and helpful Carlos was. The pictures show something of the beautiful grounds though not too many of the inside. Actually the house itself was very comfortable and the stairs were no problem. Nice to be able to do a load of laundry. One reviewer mentions problem with a low bathroom ceiling but this is really not an issue. It’s a very peaceful and quiet environment and if the weather was more cooperative we would have loved to stay longer and hike the hills.

Casa Caniço was a lovely place to spend my time in Portimão. Tania was always helpful and I really appreciated the personal touch to change my bedding after one week. Totally recommendable.

Everything was absolutely great! A great, clean and comfortable large apartment with wonderful terrace! Joao is a very warm host! At night it was quiet, the beds comfortable, bathroom and kitchen top, washing machine available - perfect for us!
