My son and I stayed at Annette’s for 4 days. It was a true home away from home with a much better view! It’s not large but has everything you need including sun screen, bug repellent, beach supplies, and books and DVDs. She also has the most gorgeous golden doodle, which my son loved! I highly recommend her place and will be returning for 5 more days this week. It is the best option in this area of the Big Island.

I was beyond impressed with her property. She has a stack full of goodies that you need for vacation and cooking. It has the perfect location for exploring both Kona and Hilo in addition to all those good beaches. Again, can’t say enough good things about this property and the management.

The Oceanfront Bungaloha was one of our favorite Airbnb locations we have ever stayed at. It was very cute, and well appointed. The views were spectacular, especially the sunsets. The ocean breeze kept the place cool enough. Great snorkeling less than 50 yards away. A beautiful, sleepy little town to get away from it all. Great location to get to volcanos national park and black and green sand beaches. 2 recommendations: a 4 wheel drive vehicle to explore (we used Turo) and big spray. Those suckers will get you after dusk. We will stay here again!

2bd Mt. Hideout Near Big Is. Treasures +Disc Golf!

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

Wer ein ruhiges und privates Plätzchen sucht ist hier genau richtig. Optimal in der Mitte der Insel gelegen, somit alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar.
