Beachfront holiday rental in Occidental Mindoro

Absolutely perfect stay! This beach house was everything we hoped for and more. Super private, peaceful, and just steps from the beach—it felt like our own little paradise. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and our dog was in heaven running around the yard and playing in the sand. It’s hard to find truly pet-friendly places that still feel like a retreat, but this one nailed it. What really stood out was the community vibe—neighbors were incredibly warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Everyone made us feel at home right away. Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking to unwind in a serene, pet-friendly spot with great people around. Already dreaming of our next visit!

Nice and peaceful place, may tv and karaoke (youtube) may card games and pool. Near din sa beach. super accommodating pa ng host and helper. May restaurant din nearby if ayaw nyo magluto. 5/5 super happy with the stay

Regina was very communicative all throughout the process. The house is very well kept and the views are awesome. The only negative that are the amount stairs and steps of the whole property. Not exactly physically disabled friendly. The views are very picturesque. It was great that the house is pet friendly. Regina’s caretaker, Inday, is such a great resource and a gem. Hopefully we can go back soon.

We had so much fun staying at Ms. Joys place. It was incredible so private, homey and clean. The rooms are clean, but not pwd friendly since you need to use the wide stairs going up and down the bedrooms. But since the place is outstanding it was not a big deal for us ☺️ The beachfront was swimmable the kids and also seniors and pwd was able to enjoy swimming at the beach. The pool was clean, but you need to be careful for the last steps since it is unnoticable. Five star also for kuya ricky he is so accomodating and always ready to assists. The absolute PERFECT spot for a family!! All the amenities you could ever want or need. Directly on a quiet beach just as nice as white beach. Anywhere else you want to go such as main town for shopping or groceries is only a 50 cent tricycle ride away. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise from the bedroom or patio everyday was breathtaking. Nestor is the best caretaker we have ever had and can recommend all the best spots to go, even transporting you himself. Pictures simply dont do this place justice as the landscaping is incredible. An oven for baking is VERY rare in Philippines and your own boat if you wish. Im really not sure why this place wouldn't be booked 365 days a year as anyone who books a hotel or other home is a simpleton :) Feel very lucky to have chosen this place and you should not hesitate in anyway at all. Id honestly rate it 11/10 and dare anyone to differ.

Our stay was just perfect! We loved the house so much and the privacy. The house is beautifully made and was so peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer but we needed to go back home because the kids had school the next day. Silvana was very easy to talk to and accommodating. Their housekeeper, Ms Mathie was very helpful as well. We will definitely book with Silvana again. We’re already planning the dates ☺️

We had a great stay at Pico De Loro, an exciting and a new experience for us, even the place was too far, mountanious, zigzag road the excitement cannot be compare with other resorts. Our host are also great didnt expect they are too young!!! The place is so clean and with complete utensils. Thank you so much. Hope to be back again and I hope that we can avail discount not senior discount though hehehe.

Staying at this open-air treehouse was a great experience. The design blended perfectly with the natural surroundings, and the treehouse itself was cozy and clean. I especially loved the hammock, which provided the perfect spot to unwind. The Host was very responsive, and all the staff were courteous and accommodating, ensuring I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a serene retreat.

Hans was very communicative and although we did not meet him, he introduced us to his care taker via phone. Mrs. Lorna made sure that we were received at the ferry terminal at Puerto Galera by her husband who was holding a sign with my name. Once we got to the apartment, Mrs. Lorna made sure we had everything we needed, explaining all of the amenities and offering to introduce us to the tour guide (who is fantastic!) and to a housekeeper. We had a wonderful experience at this apartment. The AC worked, we had drinking water provided us to by Mrs. Lorna, and the apartment is about a 20 minute Trike ride from White Beach. The tours provided by the tour guide were fantastic. All of the kitchen amenities worked. Things to keep in mind - the apartment upstairs may be used by other people and there is a 5 - 7 minute hill to walk up to the house if not using a trike.

The owners are such gracious hosts and they are hands on in dealing with the guests. They just recently opened and whatever lacking items were compensated by their quick response. It is a place we would go back to because they made us feel right at home. 🙂

Awesome place! Even with the rainy weather, our stay was pleasant. This is only the 3rd airbnb we stayed in where there were house staff who cooked meals for the guests. We didn't have to go to restaurants all the time, and we were able to enjoy a real vacation. The house staff ate Cynthia and her family were very helpful and always happy to treat us like family guests. I am happy to know that the homeowner has been checking in on us, if we were comfy during the stay. We enjoyed the house Christmas decors as well, took nice family photos in the house. Norman who assisted in the booking was also very helpful with our questions. Looking forward to staying here again with a bigger group and hopefully when weather is sunny.

Liam and Arlene and their staff are top notch. Excellent resort to stay at and close enough to town. Excellent walking beach, safe, and only a 200 peso water taxi ride to Pandan Island for snorkeling, sea turtles, and cold drinks. All arranged by Your friendly accomodating hosts. MoiMoi is a playful little monkey boy that is a permanent fixture on Liams shoulder that is always looking to get into mischief. And he does indeed. Book your stay with them. Ella is responsive while ate Tess (care taker) is way very helpful beyond their duty. There was a temporary power outage but good thing they have back up power generator.

This was one of my best AirBNB experiences. I don't stay in AirBNB's with the owners present (although sometimes they may rent it in their absence). However, since our only other option for the area seemed to be expensive resorts, we gave it a shot. Staying with Rosanna (aka Isla's B&B) was such a pleasure. It was everything I wanted to experience from Filipino hospitality. Her house is literally on the beach in Mabini. Her partner is an American who came to stay and just never left because Rosanna's hospitality is that good. He built a second floor covered balcony, where we spent most of our time working and watching the sunset. There is beautiful snorkeling right in front of the home. Rosanna is an incredible cook and will cook you meals if you choose. Btw, the whole community is basically her family, so if you need anything, she is like the unofficial mayor and just pulls out her phone and makes it happen. I recommend renting a scooter on your way so you have a way to get around.
