Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nye Beach

This is the second time we've stayed in Chris's home. This unit is completely stocked with everything you would need for cooking and comfortable bedding. We saw whales right in front of the unit. Once again, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will definitely be back again.

We had a great stay here, beach was a block away, and the cabin is nicely appointed and cozy. loved the vibe of it. Kitchen was really well stocked, everything was tidy and organized, nice washer/dryer, sauna and spa were really nice. Fireplace was wonderful and great room for reading and napping. Ashley was a really good host, very accommodating, responsive, and provided proactive communication and helpful information. Could use a deep cleaning of baseboards, harder to reach surfaces and blinds. Noticed some hair from other animals and layer of dust on things like upper shelves, under couches and on top of fridge. Didn't have a BBQ to use (though it's listed in the amenities). All other amenities and furniture was in great working condition No window covering on upper windows, so bring eye masks if you want to sleep in. Not a lot of privacy in the backyard, neighbor house overlooks hot tub and anyone walking by can easily look into backyard.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to Newport, check this place out! We were in town from Bend while working on a remodel of a local restaurant, and this place had everything we needed during our stay. The view of Yaquina Bay from the condo is awesome, and the guys even had a hot tub to relax in after work!! All-in-all, I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Lauri and Daniel.

We love this place and book as often as our schedules allow. The view is gorgeous and the house is so beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub is a great bonus feature along with the indoor/ outdoor fireplace. The kids love walking down to the water front and 'the rest of us' enjoy the short drive down to the waterfront to shop, eat and visit the seals. The 'rest of us' also appreciate and enjoy the elevator for sure! It makes all of the unloading and loading processes especially easy. We're already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks to the hosts for making such a great rental available. We so enjoyed staying on the Siletz and driving upriver one day, too, to see the house used in the filming of Ken Kesey’s “Sometimes A Great Notion” film. What a delight that was! Altogether, we had a wonderful stay, loved having so much space and the amazing views, and we look forward to returning sometime. Highly recommended.

We chose this rental for the 6 ladies in our Oregon family for our annual Girls’ Weekend to the coast. This has been a family tradition for 30-some years. This home lived up to the expectations in every way. The beautiful decorating and historic charm provided a comfortable and relaxing weekend for all of us. This is the best equipped beach house we have ever rented for this occasion. It was a short walk to Nye Beach with shops and dining options in Newport. We cannot recommend this rental too highly, and Andrea was very proactive and responsive in communicating with us.

Home away from home. ❤️ This place was really amazing and we didn’t want to leave. The house having a private beach access was amazing. The views were top notch. Having the hot tub was great after a long day walking the beach or coming back from exploring the coast. Also everything was at our fingertips if we wanted to stay in to cook or go out to eat. Everything was perfect. Thank you Scott and Sandy for hosting us and we can’t wait to stay again.

The stay was wonderful! Literally a 30 second walk to the water. I was so happy to be able to sleep with the window open to hear the sound of the ocean. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking from the window that you could see from laying in bed. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do and more. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Such a wonderful cozy inn! There are so many things to do in the area and so many great food spots. The room was exactly what I expected and I didn’t find it noisy at all, and the restaurant underneath had no impact on my stay! Hosts are incredibly communicative and helpful, could not have been better. 100% recommend, worth the price and had an unforgettable time. Thank you Drift Inn!

We love the Oregon Coast, and we especially love Newport. Pros: Beautiful view, clean room, lovely bottle of wine left for us, enjoyed the balcony alot. In walking distance to coffee, bakery, restaurants, ice cream shop, a dispensary, cute market style store. You also have Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Walmart within a few minute drive. Make sure to check out Newport cinema for an old style movie theater too. The bathroom was nice, although make sure to turn on the heating bulbs because there is no heater in the bathroom. We didn’t cook in the kitchen, but it looked very well stocked with all essentials. Cons: For the nightly price of this studio, the bed was pretty uncomfortable. We’ve stood at a lot of different places on the coast and I don’t believe we’re super picky but yeah this was definitely our least favorite mattress/bed.Definitely felt like a cheap mattress. We also went and bought our own pillows in town 1st time we’ve done that. All in all, we had a nice time in Newport!

Gorgeous view! Very nicely furnished, clean, quiet, and excellent walkability. There were a few electrical issues with the bathrooms, but crap happens, and I imagine it's hard to get an electrician over the Memorial Day weekend. It didn't really impact our stay, and we would stay again.

This was a perfect location in Nye Beach, close to shops and restaurants with a beautiful view of the beach from the living room. It was comfortable and quiet. Very relaxing! We will be back.

Great location for a weekend on the coast. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, it felt like home. Being able to walk to the beach was a real bonus. Lona was also really helpful and responsive to our messages.

We escaped the city to spend a birthday in the sanctuary space that this beautiful property is! We loved having the windows open to hear the constant powerful ocean, loved all of the big windows to watch storms roll in & out, and the sunset from the table inside or the perch at the edge of the yard! The bathtub was the largest we have ever seen, and even tho it took about an hour to fill, it was easy time to kill knowing how luxuriously deep and enjoyable it was! Such a cool view from the captains couch, loved taking a few naps from there with the view of the ocean all around! This space is well loved&taken care of! Loved being next door to Georgie’s for quick&delicious fill in meals that we didn’t wanna travel out for, picked up breakfast in my pajamas twice! She left such a lovely snack basket, beautiful flowers and bottle of wine and even a cute card of hers and cupcakes! What a treat!! Totally clear communication, directions, helpful notes to navigate the space! Thanks! So much joy

This is the second time I have stayed. It is a cute homey condo with lots of personal touches. It is right on the water. I love this place and hope to stay again!

This is our second time staying at Lynn’s place and we just love it there. Lynn is always so kind and responsive when we’ve reached out with questions. Her beautiful space is just the perfect spot for families with young kids. The building has easy beach access from the backyard, with a rinse station and a toy box full of sand toys to borrow. And the bay is just a quieter calmer place for little kids to play. The main bedroom has the bed you see in the listing, and also a foldout double bed - which we love because we all just end of sleeping in the same room. And there is a latch up high on the front door to make it harder for little kids to escape. It’s walkable to a really nice coffee shop, and the food truck place (the pines). It’s also located on the end of town that is really close to Depot Bay, which we prefer as like a cute place to wander around. And super close to Pelican Brewery. It looks exactly like the listing and is designed just beautifully, it’s a gem.

Amazing view! Very comfortable for our family of 3. We loved the quiet area and the beach that had lots of pretty views and great for walking! Michelle was super responsive to my messages and very sweet. We loved it!

I loved this place! It was clean, comfortable, and filled with "extras" I have never found anywhere else in a rental place. The location was magical. The view of the Siletz Bay with the ebb and flow of the tides made looking out the window like a brand new experience almost every time. The private beach access made walks to the beach easy and accessible, and bonfires at night a safe and fun experience for families. The apartment is located in the historic Taft District with many restaurants, shopping, and cultural activities within walking distance, and incredible beaches and parks nearby. Thank you Julie!
