We had such a lovely weekend at Sarah's cottage — it really felt like a home away from home! The view was absolutely stunning, and the best part is that it’s just a short walk from some great restaurants. Sarah truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, sharing fantastic recommendations for local dining and fun activities. This charming place is only a short stroll from the lake, where you can enjoy Fisherman's Camp for a drink on the veranda or visit Camp Carnelleys for a delicious meal. Plus, Hellsgate National Park is just down the road, ready for exploration. Personally, I enjoyed spending my time relaxing on the veranda, immersing myself in a good book, and taking in the breathtaking views of the lake! I did see some comments on Airbnb about the access road to the cottage being a bit tricky, but honestly, it’s really not bad at all. The short stretch on a dirt track is manageable for any car, provided you drive at a slow pace.

Our stay at Melody's place was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and the location was perfect for exploring Nairobi. Melody was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations. We highly recommend staying here!
