This is a beautiful cabin on Hayden Lake with a rustic camp feel complete with modern amenities. We loved having the wood stove to warm up on the cool mornings. For those looking for a getaway in the wilds of Guysborough county, this is a great place to do it.

Perfect plus+++. The house has amazing views and is very private and architecturally distinctive. Alexandra was a great host very helpful but never intrusive . Hirtle beach is in walking distance from the house which we (myself and my Corgi) did every morning . The farmers market on Thursday’s Lunneberg Has amazing fresh scallops and local bake goods and fresh veggies . A truly memorable trip. I can’t wait to return.

We chose this location because it wasn’t far from Wolfville and Aylesford - I have family in both location. The accommodation was easy to get to and convenient. Eric and Jenny were responsive and helpful but we were out most of the time so I didn’t need much help. The place was clean and well kept and very well done. I stayed with my 4 boys and we were quite comfortable. The location had a great back lawn for my kids to run outside and play. Just a heads up if you’re travelling with kids in the summer months. There are no room darkening window coverings so you might want to bring your own. The place is beautiful with lots of light and windows so it’s pretty light in the place depending on when you’re going to bed. We would totally go back :)

The house and surroundings were beautiful - surpassed our expectations. The deck area, private beach, firepits - wow! The house was fully equipped with everything you'd need. Just wish we could've spent more time. Highly recommend - we'd definitely go back!

This rental is incredible. It's the perfect combination of old world nostalgia, modern day conveniences, charm and relaxation. The sun porch is a magical place to listen to the birds and take in the scenery. Kate is a welcoming host. Will definitely visit again!

Spent 5 days for a siblings/partners get-together in March. The place was excellent for our needs. Lots of space for everyone, big bedrooms with comfy beds and very quiet between floors. The scenery was beautiful from with the spring thaw of the river underway. Nancy, our host, was very helpful and super responsive. We all said that we should come back in the summer or autumn to fully enjoy the property and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Jade's space was beautiful! Despite the gloomy weather we had a lovely stay by the foggy ocean for our anniversary! The shower is so cool and the space is so sweet. Would recommend!! :)

Absolutely gorgeous pristine property with a beautiful fire pit and seating area. Great little walking trail that surrounds the property and follows along a brook. The hosts had every light clearly labeled in the house for which was which this was great when your unfamiliar with the spot. The hosts had clear instructions posted on the door how to access the walking trail, how to start the BBQ, how to start the firepit. Although not beach weather during my stay the airbnb was equipped with beach chairs a cooler and beach toys and boogie boards for guest use and also was all Clearly labeled stating so. Bathroom had extra "if you forget" toiletries. Small coffee area fully stocked with small snacks and espresso machine with full stock of pods. Another great feature was the bedroom had a small rechargeable fan you could use as hand held or lay on your pillow if your a fan person I loved this. Definetly recommend this airbnb and the hosts 5*

We absolutely loved our stay at the Cosy Studio. It is very nicely decorated and in the best location for all that Peggy’s Cove has to offer. We watched the sun set from the bedroom and sunrise from the kitchen. Nicole responded to our questions near instantly and we loved eating next door at the Sou’Wester.

I rented Steve and Mary Ann’s Airbnb for my son and his girlfriend and they loved the accommodations, very comfortable and quiet… they said it was the best sleep they had during their vacation to Nova Scotia.

Staying at Clarke & Shelley’s was great! The place was very nice, tidy and clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The rooms were spacious and the windows let in a lot of natural light. The place felt very private, as there is nobody else living in the house (the top floor is just for storage). Great to see the sun setting over the sea on a cloudless evening. Shelley was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

Another GREAT stay at this 'sweet' suite. This space is top-notch. Suite is more like an apartment with all amenities, [e.g. dishwasher, full-size washer &dryer, stove/oven; microwave and full-size refrigerator. Residential neighbourhood is very quiet. Hosts go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

Just a few minutes from the Canso Causeway off the Trans Canada Highway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, spacious, extremely well-equipped, with good heating and cooling systems. Helpful house manual with restaurant menus. Wonderful large shower. New washer and dryer much appreciated after a week on the road. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location Pretty much downtown The place was spacious and so clean The beds were really comfortable and our Son loved the Bunk bed (top bunk) It had everything you needed We also have to give a massive shout out to Antiginish from the cool vibes at The Brownstone or the fantastic Beer and great service in The Candid Brewery. Antiginish also has a bit of a spooky history as well. So don’t miss the Antiginish Ghost walk so professional and ghostly stories. We can’t wait to come back and stay at Rawan’s place again. Thank you Rawan for the fantastic value for money and the honest description and clean place to start our splendid time in the area. (The Butcher shop WOW the meat and the great service)

We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent for attending a nearby conference and exploring downtown Halifax. The apartment is spacious and clean. Andrea was also great to communicate with and very accommodating.

Staying at Nancy’s place will always be one of the highlights of our 4 week holiday. Lovely bed linens, bathrobes(!) and plenty of soft towels were so nice to have. The apartment is very nicely appointed, with ample dishes, cookware cutlery and miscellaneous pantry goods. While St.John’s popular restaurants are less than 20 min walk away, it was wonderful option to be able to eat in. We enjoyed shopping at the wonderful St.John Market for fresh meats, seafood and produce. All were easy to prepare here. Nancy was so cheerful whenever we interacted by text. I’d happily stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

The location is perfect for anyone who loves to be near the town center. Unfortunately the weather didn’t give us a break to enjoy the waterfront yard. It was clean and the host was quick to respond. If you’re staying with young kids, be warned that there are stairs with no barrier at the top. We managed by blocking it with the chair and it was safe for my granddaughter. We paid premium, it would be nice to have a later check out to be able to enjoy an extra morning as the weather turned nice when we left, but we knew that before we booked. The second room is small, however the master bedroom was big enough for a crib. Overall, the place is good especially if the weather cooperates. You’ll enjoy the choices of restaurants nearby. I would recommend this for a family. 3- day stay was sufficient for us.

This was a wonderful place. Great location,very clean and very well equipped. I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend it. The view of the park was lovely. There were many nice small details like a cocktail set and doggie treats . We had a lovely experience.

Great location. Very peaceful! Daniel was helpful, responsive and friendly! The place was beautiful, hot tub was great to relax in. Little touches like the basket of snacks, robes and slippers and towel art made it even better!

We are from Australia and have stayed in apartments all around the world. This apartment was large, well decorated and spotlessly presented. It is an easy walk to some good restaurants, the waterfront and the markets. One of, if not the best, apartment we have stayed in.

We all enjoyed our stay at Erica’s! She was beyond accommodating to us for our itinerary of events for the night. It’s a very short drive to downtown Halifax! The property is exactly how described. Beautiful, spacious, well laid out. We felt very comfortable and it’s very quiet. The tiered patio is dreamy for entering and lovely background for capturing photos. I hope to stay again in the near future :)
