Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

A 10 min walk through the woods is required to get from the parking lot to the cabin.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
