Monthly Rentals in Norwood

I had reached out to Carolyn about possibly arriving later than the stated check in time and she was willing to accommodate (we did end up arriving earlier than we first anticipated). The place was an excellent location for easy access to NYC. Although my friend and I were not there for a long stay— we had what we needed and the place served its purpose. It was clean, functional and the beds were comfortable. Since this apartment is within the home and shares a foyer/entrance, I was surprised that the door at the top of the steps (to the apartment) was not a solid, locking door but rather an accordion type door. My friend and I were also a little puzzled by the eyelet locks that were on the outside of the bedroom doors. We ended up unscrewing them from the doors and replacing them when we left. All in all— the place was what we needed and worked out well for us. If anyone was home in the downstairs area we did not hear them and the rest of the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Joanna is an awesome host and person! She went above and beyond doing everything to help me and make my visit comfortable and fun. Great location too. Walk to everything. Train to NYC is super close. Highly recommend this place!

We had the best 4 nights at Allison’s beautiful cozy apartment, so peaceful it really feels like we were at home, we definitely would come back to her place, my husband and I we were admiring about how beautiful the little town of tappan is with easy access to go visit nyc, all we want to said thank you Allison so much for having us!!

Located close to Untermeyer Gardens, along with easy access to Wave Hill Garden and New York Botanical Gardens, we found many things to do in the area. Definitely a great place to stay!
