The home is well looked after and holds an authentic style, much like retro/vintage. In winter you can ski the forest's trail all the way home from the ski slope. Short distance to Trolltunga and other attractions Prekestolen and Hardangervidda. Guided tours can be arranged on request. You are welcome

Room with bunk beds, shared WC, shower, kitchen, and fireplace lounge. Activity hall with table tennis and billiards available. Out ON TOUR: Tour to Hornøya outside Vardø, fishing on the fjord and pole fishing from land. Fishing in 5 good salmon rivers nearby; Jakobselva, Bergebyelva, Vesterelva, Skallelva and Komagelva. Hike on the mountain, along the river, Golf 9 hole course, driving range, hike to the bird mountain Ekkerøy, go skiing in prepared slopes right outside the door.

There is a lot to experience in Hyllestad, both for the active one but also for the ones that wants to relax and enjoy the harmonious environment. The nature around Sognhostel gives peace for body and soul. All the seasons has its own charm. If you are up for a hike, hiking trails start just outside our doorstep. You can rent bikes, boats and kayaks close by to explore the area. 10 km from our hostel you will find the Millstone Park, which is an outdoor Viking museum.

Our dorms have either 4 or 6 beds, it is one bed per booking. The dorm comes with a shared bathroom in the hallway.
