Big Cabin

Ortnevik is two and half hours north of Bergen, on the south side of the Sognefjord. It's a picturesque Norwegian village sitting by the fjord at the foot of the Stølsheimen National Park. The local ferry can take you to see a bit more of the surrounding area, such as Vik, Voss and Flåm. Along side the mountain and forest trails, fishing and rowing activities found here. We expect guests to clean the cabin to the same standard they found it in or there is the option of cleaning for 500 NOK.

Unike liten steinbu i Vivassdalen-Hardangervidda

De gamle stølsbuene av stein er restaurert og er et syn og et opphold verdt. Siden hyttene ligger inni nasjonalparkområdet, er her forbudt med motorisert ferdsel. Fred og ro er stikkord for dette oppholdet. Alikevel kan dagene fylles med aktiviteter fra morgen til kveld for de som ønsker det. Hyttene er fullutstyrt med så stor «luksus» som det er mulig å få til innenfor de reglene som nasjonalparken setter. En ferie her blir noe helt annet enn det en har opplevd før.

Unique and peaceful resort with nice natural surroundings. Here you can relax, hike, fish, paddle with canoe and stand up board that you can arrange to borrow from the landlord. There are also good bathing opportunities. In the autumn you can pick berries and mushrooms. In the winter there are good skiing opportunities. The Jotunheimen adventure cottages - your adventure!

Here is the place for 2 people who want to relax, enjoy themselves and enjoy good food. Breakfast basket on the door is a must! View from bed and short way to toilet and shower. Own Mountain Pub can also be found on site. Our SagaFjøl is very popular, a taste of the mountain consisting of cheese and sausage. No dog is allowed in these cottages. Wifi is available at service building and in Pub. Welcome to your adventure!

Modern turf house

Stay in a modern Sámi turf house – called a “gamme” in Norwegian and “goahti” in Sámi. Peaceful and unique, it has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom, and a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed. Ideal for 4 adults + 1 child or 2 adults + 2–3 kids. Optional hot tub rental (must be booked in advance). Guests have access to a pizza oven, lean-to shelter, grill and fire pit areas.

Recharge in a peaceful sleeping pond for two. You have access to a separate kitchen and shower/toilet adjacent to a wood-burning sauna. Hot tub and sauna can be rented for an additional fee and must be booked well in advance. The hot tub is available May - Oct. only and is weather dependent. On the property there is an outdoor kitchen, pizza oven and several fire pits. Free EV charger.
