Absolutely great place. Perfect location for a nice day out in ouseburn / a walk along the quayside. Spacious and airy apartment that is bigger than it looks in the pictures too! Would recommend for sure! X

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, it is in a perfect location to explore the local attractions we love it .

Had the most wonderful stay & was genuinely sad to leave! The views are unbeatable and i’m going to miss sleeping to the sound of the waves 🥲. The welcome treats were great after a long drive and the message about finding the flat was really helpful too. Hope to be able to return. Thank you Ange!

We stayed in this property over the bank holiday and found the property perfect. The views of the harbour and Farne Island were breathtaking. The location was ideal as it close to all pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this property to anybody. Parking was next to the property which again a big plus

This property is comfortable and has all the facilities needed for a family. It was particularly good for the dogs and treats were left as a welcome for them too. Amble is easy to walk to and is a lovely place to stay and explore. We had a lovely week!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we needed! the views were absolutely beautiful and the area was peaceful and relaxing. The welcome guide was so indepth and had recommendations for everything! Would definitely come back again!

Had a brilliant time at Jon’s place. It is truly beautiful and immediately comfortable too - we settled in very quickly and slept so well in the enormous beds! Jon is a friendly and welcoming host, and was super-helpful with local recommendations and travel tips. Great area, plenty of history and some interesting little shops and eateries. We travelled by train - an easy 10-15 minute walk either through the town or along by the river. Wonderful base if you’re exploring the Northumberland coast or heading into south east Scotland. We did both, and hope to return! Definitely recommended.

The house was easy to find and very welcoming. Inside it was spotless and very nicely furnished so it was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, something often lacking in holiday homes, and was wonderfully spacious. Having a double aspect was a bonus with that great view of said estuary! The bedding and towels were of good quality and having hand wash at every sink was a nice extra. Despite being in a village the house was quiet and peaceful at night, but we felt totally secure. The location is brilliant with pubs/restaurants, a shop and the beach all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. All in all, Estuary Cottage made for a wonderful break, and we will definitely return. A home from home. This stay was fantastic. Attention to detail was fabulous, stunning views and little gifts for the children, snack box, everything we needed was there. Quiet and relaxing. We hope to venture back in the future. Genevieve was also really responsive to any questions, very kind and helpful.

Leslie’s house was ideal for our stay in the NE. The house is in a residential area which is very quiet but you can be straight out to the beach / cliffs or onto the Sluice river towpath within a minute. Absolutely perfect for dog owners and the Kings Arms pub which can be seen from the house is excellent. Lovely walks along the coast to Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Blyth etc. We would also highly recommend the Castaway coffee house which is also a stones throw from the house. We visited to pick our son up from university in Newcastle so it was really convenient for that too, just half an hour away.

Excellent accomodation - would strongly recommend for any couple staying in Northumberland Coast. Extremly clean and well - equipped and bigger than we expected.

Great apartment which is very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Fabulous views over the harbour and an easy walk into town. Chris 's communication is excellent and we'd definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

We decided spontaneously to have weekend away and Dexter was really accommodating as we literally booked it, threw things in the car and left. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was ready for us and even changed his own plans to do this. The house was perfect for us and our dogs. It was literally a stones throw to the beach (you could even see it from the main bedroom window) We had a wonderful, restful weekend and the dogs are tired out from beach fun and lovely walks. Thank you so much :)

Elaine’s apartment was ultra modern, very clean and well presented. The bathroom is fabulous beautiful freestanding bath and fantastic power shower. We had a welcome pack which was absolutely lovely, made up of local products. It’s well placed for exploring the local area’s. Holy Island / Bamburgh castle/ Seahouses are all within an hour.

We were met by our welcoming host who provided us with all the necessary information. The apartment was top notch, Karen really has perfected the art of providing a home from home environment. For us the location was close enough to the city centre to enable access to the transport networks and other visitor attractions yet far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the lively toon. we would love to make a return visit to Karen's apartment.

Simple room in a quiet block of flats on the riverside. Mark is an excellent and accommodating host.

A wonderful place to stay. Super comfortable bed. Felt homely and warm. Would recommend. Thank you for everything.
