Very enjoyable week with several family members. Very comfortable place. The kitchen is well equipped and Berwick is a great place to go out to eat.

An amazing space that is a walkable distance to the city centre (25ish minutes) or 10 minute bus journey. Paul was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags in our rooms before the check-in time so that we could explore the city. A perfect place to stay if you’re in Newcastle for a couple of nights.

I had a lovely stay. The house was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. There was an European outlet in the room which was lovely. The metro (Chillingham Road) is very close-by making it a lovely area to stay in. I loved the park nearby (Heaton park) and all the nice restaurants and cafés. Akanksha and Suhail were wonderful hosts, and gave great recommendations of local restaurants and places to go. Also lovely to get to know Ollie and Maya! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Newcastle!

We stayed 22 nights in this Airbnb and truly felt like we were at home. From the very beginning, communication with Aggie was excellent. Her message was informative and friendly, which gave me confidence in our choice. I mentioned my dust allergy, and she reassured me right away. When we arrived, the house was even cleaner and better maintained than I expected. The house was immaculate, warm, and perfect for our family. The sofa bed in the living room was spacious for me and my 5 year old, and the bedroom had all the amenities for my husband. The bathroom was modern, and the decor made us feel cozy and welcomed. We often forgot we were in an Airbnb, it felt like we were in a friendly home. The family’s dogs were a lovely touch quiet and friendly, adding to the homely feel. Aggie was a true gem, always kind and helpful. We found a new friend, and I can't wait to see her again. Thank you, Aggie, for an unforgettable experience!

Great place to stay and a pleasant walk into the city ! Mary Kate is a lovely host, and the accommodation met all my needs. I would definitely recommend and hopefully be back.

My work colleague and I needed a place for 4 weeks of work in Newcastle, and Thomas’ place was perfect. Great amenities, well equipped kitchen, with a dining table, lots of space upstairs, effectively we had a floor and bathroom each. The centre of town is only a 20 mins walk. Thomas was a superb host. Thanks so much for an excellent stay. The house was spotlessly clean and was amazing location for St James’ Park/train station and the town. Also, the beds are super comfortable!!! We couldn’t initially log into the WiFi and messaged Neil who turned up at the door no more than 5 mins later - amazing service and could tell he really wanted everything to be right for us. Thanks so much. We will be recommending to friends and family, and will definitely be back!

Echo was an extremely helpful host and (even though we arrived at 11.30pm after an unexpectedly long drive) was still up to welcome us, which was above and beyond our expectations. The whole place was immaculately clean and private bathroom was great. Comfy bed and deliciously clean-smelling bed linen. It’s a beautiful, modern, extremely clean house (lovely blue-grey paint colour and aesthetically pleasing artwork). An easy 30 minute walk into the centre, and breakfast is available in the shared kitchen (Echo & James had thought of everything you could want. A peaceful, safe neighbourhood, and the arrival instructions were very clear (although if you’re arriving in the dark, it may take you a little bit longer!). All in all, an excellent stay with extremely accommodating kind hosts. Thank you!

We booked The Old Watchmaker’s House for 12 days and it was the nicest, homiest place we have stayed. Admittedly, I can quite picky but this place was a dream and did not disappoint- even better than the photographs! Very comfortable beds, quality linens, nice bath products provided, spotlessly clean with plenty of room for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers, who were thankful to have plenty of space and privacy for such a long vacation. Barbara went above and beyond, both before and after our trip to ensure we were happy and felt at home. She kindly arranged and generously provided several special requests, which were beyond the role of hostess. We enjoyed hearing about stories about it being her childhood family home, which made it exceedingly special. As for location, you cannot get better in Morpeth, with it being right downtown and close to everything you could want or need. Given its history and name, it was magical to find pocket watches scattered about. Thank you, Barbara! xxx

Beautiful townhouse set on 4 floors. Tastefully presented. Great location to the town centre. We had a very comfortable stay.

Angela gave us a great welcome. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walks up the dene and along the coast with the help of a good bus service.

The apartment was very easy to get to, just 12 minutes walk from the station. WiFi was very strong and well distributed around the apartment. Sarah was always very helpful and polite. The rooms were all well dressed and it felt like a home from home. Foxtons underneath the apartment did a great breakfast and dinner and there was no noise at all from the bar / restaurant. The apartment is very well sited and you can get to the town walls and all the other places you want to go very quickly. There is no need at all for a vehicle. Also, it is very close to a great range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Would certainly go back when next in Berwick.

Property was in a great location for Newcastle and the Metro Centre. Great views over the Tyne. The property was very nice and perfect for our group of 5 adults. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Caroline was an exemplary host. The property was furnished throughout to the very highest standard. A beautiful location with amenities very close by, the property was the perfect get away for our party of 8. Spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, we couldn’t have asked for more. We had a fabulous stay at the physicians house, and Alison was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I'm sure if we had needed something, she would have been quick to help us. The only reason I've not given 5 stars throughout is that the dining room was geared for 8 not 10 as the house slept 10, it wasn't a problem, we found other seats to use etc, it made our family gathering very homely, rather than luxury. I would happily stay there again. The location was perfect, and having parking, really made our stay easy.

I’m glad I chose to stay at Martin’s place! It was my first time staying in UK and I had lots of fun. I stayed here over a month and want to come back again. Martin took us to go to beach, mountain, fruits shop, Thomas-like train ride, ice cream shop, fish and chips etc. Martin is a really friendly, kind and nice person. I even met his mom and daughter and we had lots of fun. Kitchen has all the tools and are clean and convenient. Bathroom and shower are also clean. The room has a big and comfortable bed which made me sleep a lot. I highly suggest everyone should come stay with Martin in their lifetime. Next time I’ll bring my mom!

We had a wonderful time staying with two other families here. The house is spacious, clean and full of all the things you need to cook and make yourself at home. Great location and a lovely outside space meant we could make the most of the sunny Spring weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property was beautiful even better than the photos . It had everything you needed to make your stay relaxing and cosy. Property is also within walkable distance to the city centre and check in was made seamless and any questions host were always on hand and response . Couldn’t fault it !!!! This was a very comfortable room and a good base for my two-week stay in Northumberland. Martin is a friendly host with lots of local knowledge and recommendations, and he even took me around to buy groceries. He’s got a separate refrigerator for guests which is very useful. I didn’t have a car but I managed to visit a lot in Northumberland by bus, and there’s also a lovely walk out the door along the River Wansbeck and around the North Sea coast to Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.

Lovely stay in Berwick, the house is well positioned to walk into the town with plenty of coffee shops & cafes, Local restaurants are really nice & it’s an excellent base to visit the area. There is a lovely small wine bar across the road, the owner made us very welcome as a large family group with children, plenty of games on the tables to play
