Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Northern Cape

What a lovely, spacious place! It was spotless and tidy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We had everything we needed and more. A gas heater and hot water bottles were handy for cold nights. We will definitely visit again soon.

A perfect place to get away from the city buzz. It's like taking a time machine back 40 years. The simplicity of living close to nature with the family around and no deadline to chase. Sad we could not stay forever but will be back soon.

Jacks is a beautiful old farm style house with huge rooms. its nice a cosy and really fells like home.

Botánica is the perfect elands getaway. Location to the beach and surf is very close, the space is well laid out and they’ve done a fantastic job with landscaping their yard with the wooden decking and pool area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay in the old farm house and really enjoyed exploring the surroundings of the farm, hiking and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The dogs were als so sweet and friendly and the entire vibe at the farm is so relaxed and peaceful.

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

We had such a great stay, the house is spacious, well equipped, super clean and the beds and linen were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends travelling through and we'll definitely book to stay again.

We had such a great weekend away at Khoi Khoi in Paternoster. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and well equipped. Close to the beach for lovely walks on beautiful days and cosy inside with a brilliant indoor fire on wintery days. Such a friendly team and warm welcome on arrival. Such a sweet spot nestled in the beautiful landscape of Rock lands. Lefras (and his doggo) we're the nicest hosts, very helpful and friendly and the house is full of charm. Sad we didn't get to stay there longer.

Absolutely beautiful property; if anything the pictures cannot do justice to the panorama of the lake and surrounding hills. We were lucky with the weather and the place has everything that you need! Tim was also and hand to help out with the hot tub etc. Simply superb!

This is my favourite place in the Western Cape….restorative with such a unique sense of design and decor. The ultimate luxury for couples- a rare treat.

Lovely old house but with all mod cons and comfortably furnished. Walking distance from all attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended.

We stay at Christine's every year on our way to Limpopo - it's on the edge of town, feels like the countryside - a warm welcome, good coffee, milk, all the small things that make it a standout place to stay.

Thank you Harry for sharijg your slice if heaven with us. The family and pets loved the beautiful surroundings and wine tasting was a nice touch. We ended up buying 2 boxes 😆. The dams , pools are just magnificent. Great to make some awesome memories with the family and little one . Cosy cottage , well equipped and very peaceful. We will be back , thanks again

A very nice and well decorated little beach house. Right on the beach in Paternoster. Ideal for 2-4 persons. Great restaurants in the surrounding areas. Paternoster is a super relaxed village on the beach. Super seafood and above all be sure to try: Crayfish and local oysters from Saldanha. Delicious!

If tranquility was a place…… Our stay at House Kuru was exceptional. Comfy, clean beds and a clean unit, nature at your doorstep. The aircon was a life saver and the outside shower an absolute treat! The surroundings are breathtaking and the many hiking and swimming opportunities at your doorstep are amazing. Matthys is very responsive and his team is lovely. Receptionist was super friendly at check. There’s a little store with some goodies if you happen to forget something. We’ll definitely be back!

Great overnight place, feels like home away from home. Loved the complimentary homemade rusks!

We had a great stay at this house. No problems checking in. Air conditioning and other amenities. Beds were good too.

Very comfortable stay, within walking distance from the beach. Ample space and a warm fire for the chilly evenings. Would recommend!

If you are looking to disconnect with real life and connect with nature then this is the place to go! We had a lovely stay at River Lodge at Karoo Ridge Conservancy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and considerate with providing a camping cot and feeding chair for our baby and a net over the pool. Everything you need is there. We also did some of the hikes from the River Lodge and went for a great game drive with sundowners. Our dogs enjoyed the space as well. With no cell reception and WIFI at the lodge (only available at the reception shop), this is exactly what we need d for our breakaway. We will definitely visit again.

A perfect little hideaway .. Theresa had thought of everything from a hot water bottle to Lindt choccies on our pillow! A true little gem .. everything was wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful spacious house on a beautiful location. The house is well built so you can enjoy the nature even when the West Coast wind shows up. Smart touches like an airfryer and an ice machine added a level of convenience you don’t often get at rental places. The host was friendly, proactive and super responsive. I will definitely recommend this place. And also add the apartment for even more space.

Loved our stay at Die Waenhuis. A wonderful tiny home with all the amenities that we required. The shared garden with the restaurant was lovely and there was no noise from the actual restaurant so no need to worry about that. Aubrie assisted us and he was wonderful to chat to, also makes great food!
