Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northern Beaches Council

I had the pleasure of staying in an outstanding Airbnb home to celebrate my 60th birthday with 6 friends, and I must say that it exceeded all expectations. The homeowners, Ken and Lisa, provided exceptional service and communication from start to finish, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The location of the home on the water was breathtaking, and the view alone was worth the trip. The house itself was absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. It was clear that Ken and Lisa take great pride in their home, and it showed in every detail. Overall, our stay was unforgettable, and I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience.

Shauna and Travis were wonderful hosts - always quick to respond to any query we had and very warm and welcoming. This is a very comfortable home and we really enjoyed our stay!

A wonderful luxurious place to stay and watch the world sail and motor past! Great to have access to a private jetty along with kayaks and paddle boards. And Scotland Island is a lovely size to wander around with plenty of bush.

Keren’s home on Lovett Bay is beautiful. A huge deck with a stunning view and loads of tables, day beds, hammocks to relax. It’s such a unique experience to stay somewhere with only boat access. It’s so easy getting the ferry or the water taxi and Keren provides clear and easy to follow instructions . You feel instantly at home. There is great swimming at the beach below, a 3 minute walk, and the hiking is fantastic in the national park. It’s easy to shop in Mona Vale or the lovely shop at church point wharf. Don’t hesitate to stay.

We had the most wonderful week at Coasters Retreat relaxing and recharging at Victoria's Airbnb over the summer break. It was so lovely to enjoy the water views from sunrise to sunset. Perched up on a hill the house offers a lot of privacy whilst still enjoying an excellent view from the deck. The house was very well appointed equipped with everything that we needed. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. A very special spot that we love & will return to. Highly recommended.

Julie's place was great! We had a family weekend there for a celebration birthday. The house is super cosy and the kitchen/dining room was perfect for a family meals and hang times. Beds were comfy & bathrooms were modern. Be aware that the stairs and walk up to the Bothy from the wharf are not a stroll in the park if you have a lot of luggage/food/drink, or are not as mobile. Consider the community transport vehicle on the island which Julie provides details for.

Had a fantastic week long stay at Julie’s house for Christmas catching up with family. House was amazing, stunning design & beautiful view. Would highly recommend staying here. Julie was a great host too 😊

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We 6 adults for the weekend. There was plenty of space, the house was extremely clean, and very comfortable. We loved the open-plan kitchen/dining/loungeroom. Huge lounge, and a lovely big outdoor deck area, leading off the lounge. It was great having two bathrooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything worked well. The location is so beautiful. Hope to be back.

The Cottage is a quaint, clean comfortable waterside pad in which to enjoy the truly tranquil surrounds of Berowra Waters. Sue was a terrific, warm and friendly host. We were grateful for the pick up service, kayaks, tinnie and tips. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games. Highly recommended.

Louise's place is beautifullll - I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We had such a lovely weekend there, the house is gorgeous and homey and has everything you need. The location is just stunning! It was so peaceful, there's some beautiful walks to do (including a nice waterfall!). There's absolutely nothing I'd change about it all - if you get a chance to stay here, definitely do.

Amazing stay at an incredible house and location. Everything was perfect.

Lovely peaceful spot, no traffic, train or watercraft noise, near the end of a culdesac on a quiet road. The studio is separate from the main house (by about 20m) and feels very private. We would come again. One issue was we couldn't get the aircon to blow warm, but Sak came over straight away and sorted it out (you have to have it on high fan, as well as heat and the correct temp). There are eating utensils and crockery enough for two people, as well as a fridge, kettle and toaster. Basically a lovely stay and a beautiful spot!

Great little place for our family stay, we we two adults and two children (1 and 6 years old). Beds were very comfy. Really helpful and friendly host.

Liz and Larry are exceptional hosts. On arrival after settling in Liz and Larry introduced themselves and showed me where the kayaks were, supplied extra life jackets and gave me a general run down. I found them to be down to earth and friendly, whilst also professional and very respectful of privacy. The cabin is to the rear ( street side) with a little side access to the creek. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, everything you could need and thought has gone into what you will need /want for your stay. The kayaks are great and handy by the creek, plenty of outdoor seating, if I needed anything very responsive. Kitchen is great with everything well stocked to cook and clean. It rained for much of our stay, but that didn’t stop us enjoying the creek, beach, riding around, and enjoying the walks and waterfalls that the rain provided. Check in and check out is a breeze, I can’t wait to get back to my favourite place ever ( Patonga ) and Patonga cabin has the right price, and hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Astrid’s riverside cabin. It was a lovely, secluded weekend away. We enjoyed kayaking on the river and Col who did the boat transfers for us was fantastic as well. Would highly recommend as a couples getaway.

Second time coming here and it was as good as the first. Made awesome memories here two times, feels like home
