Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Mark was a fantastic host, very helpful with thoughtful incite and suggestions. The cabin (home) was far better than the photos portrayed, everything was clean and very well equipped. Bright living space with three skylights & beds were very comfortable. Great access to the lake with sturdy long dock to take in the beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend this cottage!

We stayed 5 days at this lovely home. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and we were able to navigate easily throughout the house and to the waterfront. Amy was very quick to respond with any questions. The house had everything you could need from food prep to entertainment indoors and out. Beautiful lake view and the deck area was so relaxing and terrific for eating outside. We also loved the fire pit and watching the gorgeous sunsets. Amy left many suggestions for restaurants and stores in the area and we used several and were very pleased. Definitely would recommend and quite possibly will book in the future and bring our sons and their families along. Had a very memorable time,

I had an incredible experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication seamless. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, and attractions.. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like fresh linens, a well-stocked kitchen, and local recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!

Definitely coming back here! Grant is very welcoming and has been very nice and super responsive. The place is amazing and private! It was also very easy to find. Amazing host, he provided us will all the home essentials. Place is SUPER clean and cozy and cute! Definitely recommended COME HERE you won’t regret it

Caitlin’s place was beautiful. The area is very serene and relaxing. The home had all amenities described and more. I especially appreciated all the amenities that were made with kids in mind. We had more than enough space and entertainment options for everyone without even leaving the house. Nearby there is lots to do within 5-30 min drive. Would be a great walking/running area as well. Just note if you go after Oct. 20 some things in the area start closing for the season and most are closed by the 31st. Caitlin was very responsive, helpful, and considerate. She was quick to message back with recommendations and answer questions. We loved our stay at the Toasted Marshmallow!

Jade was a great host. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed. She even had some canned, boxed and other sealed items. The bed, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. All the supplies needed in a well-lit bathroom, including Ibuprofen! The grounds were lovely with lake reflecting the beautiful fall colors. I had a doe, and her fawn come up to the front yard every morning, which was cool. I would suggest making sure all of the front porch lights work. I arrived late and the extra lighting would have been helpful. Having blue refactors to indicate where the driveway was would have been helpful as well, because of all of the leaves and no overhead lighting. I would stay at her place again and would recommend it to friends or family!! :-)

We had an amazing stay at Ameer’s cottage in Tobermory! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed, and it’s clear Ameer puts a lot of care into making sure his guests feel comfortable. The location was fantastic — close to the main attractions but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Ameer was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend his place to anyone looking for a great stay in Tobermory. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The cottage is beautiful - the pictures don't really do it justice. The view of the lake from the windows is breathtaking! It is well furnished, clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Angie and Dale are very responsive and helpful for anything you need. Definitely a great place to stay in a beautiful area!

I had a fantastic time, the cottage was fantastic and the view was spectacular. I definitely would like to return next year. I also highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs to relax and get away!

Very Cool place to stay! Has everything you need and some… Host is Top Notch and very responsive if needed. I love how it’s got the rustic cabin feel but with a women’s touch and make you feel right at home. This was a work trip so we didn’t get to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Definitely be back when in the area. 5 Stars all day long!!

Eva’s place was amazing. We had an amazing and relaxing girls weekend. The place was clean and had lots of things to do from paddle boarding or kayaking to staying in playing a game or doing a puzzle. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with friends. The views and sunsets were breathtaking, and there are many seating options to take it all in.

We just got home from a wonderful week stay at Courtney’s place on MacGregor Bay. We can’t say enough great things about this place. Having a whole island to ourselves with a trail to hike, paddle boards to use, and all the amenities of home was exactly what we needed! The off grid living with a warm outdoor shower was a highlight…and the constant breeze off the bay will be missed! Our family of four all slept very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised to find a blender and a salad spinner! 😉 We feel very lucky to have found this gem and hope to return again soon. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Truly a magical place. Tucked way, surrounded by nature. The scent of the pines, the sound of the waves crashing from Lake Huron. A wide open star filled sky. Exploration abounds. Incredible design both inside & out. Cozy beds, soft linens that you melt into. A kitchen well stocked to cook wonderful meals to share. You can get fresh groceries only a few miles up the road. Many day excursions and experiences to be had. Great hiking; swimming, snorkeling, diving, biking, bouldering etc.. And get back in time for incredible sunsets. This cabin is just breathtaking! The location is amazing surrounded by nature and so peaceful. The dock was just great to get into the water. The place was exactly as described, very homy and so cozy, my husband and I felt like we could just stay there the whole trip. This is just a wonderful place to stay at and we will definitely be back. Huge thanks to Phyllis for the hospitality and great details about the place. I totally recommend this place.

We had a rest with children in this wonderful place. Here so much care and comfort has been invested by the hosts. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail so that your rest will be great. Clean very comfortable. Incredible view from the window, great pleasure to watch the sunrise with such a view, drink coffee and enjoy the time spent in this wonderful place!

WOW is all I can say about Embers Cabin. It was such a beautiful cabin with fire pit and plenty of seating. Many kayaks and a canoe to choose to go on the lake with. About a half hour away from everything.

Bottom line up front: this place is truly something special. We have two kiddos, ages 2 and 4, and there is no place better to stay than on Singing Sands. The beach itself is perfect for little ones (ankle to waist deep for a loooong way out) and location is the perfect jumping off point for day trips around Northern Bruce Peninsula (The Grotto, Halfway Log Dump, Visitor's Center, Big Tub Lighthouse, etc). As far as Phil and Tessa's place specifically: it was equipped with everything you'd need to make the most of your time with your little ones. We played at the beach, went paddle boarding, watched the sunset while making s'mores over the fire pit, and our kids had so much fun playing with the wagon full of toys in the sand. Phil and Tessa really do have a little slice of heaven, and it's so cool that they share it with others through AirBnb. Our little family thanks you guys a million times over for allowing us to experience it all. We made memories to last a lifetime!!
