Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North West

Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

what a wonderfull weekend in an amazing house with amazing facilities. The huge garden let us set up our badminton nets, soccer nets and the under cover boat house was amazing. The help that lives on the propperty was extraordinary and avalible all day when needed. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

The pictures do not do it justice. What a beautiful home with stunning views of the dam. Multiple seating areas inside and outside. Electric blankets and air conditioning provided which really made our stay more comfortable. Spacious bedrooms with enough bathrooms. Would recommend getting more serving dishes and food storage containers especially because the house caters for a large number of guests. Otherwise , no complaints. Responsive host and caretaker. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful 5-day stay at this Airbnb — truly one of the best we’ve experienced. The house has been beautifully remodeled, with all-new, high-quality furnishings and appliances that are not only functional but also thoughtfully chosen and stylish. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need — from the kitchen to the bedrooms — without feeling cluttered. The attention to detail really stood out, and everything felt fresh, clean, and inviting. The host is friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended — we would absolutely stay here again!

Michael ist sehr engagiert, freundlich, äusserst hilfreich und gut erreichbar! Das Haus bietet für eine grosse Gruppe viel Platz, Freiraum um zu geniessen und auszuspannen. Der Garten, die Braai-area laden sehr für stundenlanges verweilen ein. Die Einrichtung im gesamten Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist in tadellosem Zustand, die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, es hat einfach viel Platz! Die Küche ist sehr geräumig und hat alles an Geräte was es braucht zum Kochen, Backen, Brutzeln! Das Haus hat 2 mal wöchentlich, auf Wunsch mehr, eine Dame die sich um die Zimmer, die Sauberkeit und die Pflege des Hauses kümmert. Sie ist eine sehr herzhafte und liebe Person, hilft jederzeit gerne aus. Die Gärtner sind sehr engagiert, halten die schöne Gartenanlage sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. In Kürze: ein kleines Paradies. Für uns als Golfer umso mehr weil das Haus die Aussicht auf den Parkview GC erlaubt…immer spannend zu beobachten wie andere Golfer das Spiel für sich interpretieren.

A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

It's a very nice place. Well-decorated, a small but well-equipped kitchen, an excellent shower, and a short walk to the cafes and shops in Melville.

We had an absolute dream stay at Vee's beautiful home. The hot tub was a definite highlight - made our stay even more special. Vee was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, and accommodating. Her hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lovely place to relax.

What a beautiful and roamy home with all the necessary amenities to have a relaxed family weekend. The 5th room is an outside room and gave the young ones a bit of privacy from the "old people". We had a wonderful stay in a lovely peaceful neighborhood in a safe security estate, but with seamless access as arranged by the owner. There are plenty of bathrooms and enough room for all the guests to be comfortable and relaxed with absolute attention to detail in each space with all the luxuries you would need for a weekend of spoils away from home. We had a very special family breakfast and would count the days to visit this house at Vall Marina again in the summer to also fully enjoy the outside amenities in the warmer months.

We had an amazing stay at Julie’s cottage! From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome. The cottage is a beautiful, airy space—perfect for unwinding and relaxing. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Linda and Peters place is such a beautiful gem...hidden deep in th3 magalies mountains. The communication was great from the beginning.The directions are clear 👌 and the staff is super sufficient The place is totally off grid and a great place to go to clear ones mind. The walking trails are clear and marked.We just couldnt walk to the main house because we couldn't cross the river,which was not an issue But overall the place is great and peaceful Thanks Linda and Peter

Tsele makes everything easy from check in to check out. Very professional. Across the street from the Mall of Africa so anything you need is right there. I will definitely be back!

We had a very comfortable stay. Janine’s place offered everything we needed and was clean. The access to DSTV was a plus. Despite cold weather we were cosy inside. I appreciated their willingness to accommodate us and their friendliness whilst also allowing us our privacy. The location is also central. We’d happily return.

We were welcomed as we entered the property with real South-African hospitality! Rooms are large and have everything you need. In winter, I recommend an extra blanket! The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The only downside is the lack of a shower in the bathroom. Thank you for hosting us!

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

The environment here is lovely—peaceful and serene. I really enjoyed watching the cows and sheep roam around, and it was especially heartwarming to see them interact with my dog. Such a delightful experience!

Il soggiorno nel piccolo cottage di Hermione e Paul è stato indimenticabile e da favola!! La piccola fattoria è curata con amore, e tutto è perfetto e accogliente. Non potevamo scegliere soggiorno migliore con il nostro dobermann, e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque abbia un compagno a quattro zampe. I am a automobile and lifestyle content creator - i visit different countries and visit many guesthouses hotels etc , so i get to experience a variety of different people and places - but i absolutely LOVED Jacobs accomodation for the warm, homely feel. He was accomodating, friendly and so helpful from conception,- I needed to check in an hour earlier because of international guest arrival and Jacob pulled out all the stops to have the place ready to accomodate me at very short notice. The house itself is beautiful and suits any occasions, so should you be looking for your engement parties venues, big milestone birthdays , or even just a photo shoot for an important reason this is it . Thank you Jacob for being the best in the crew.
