Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

Lindi is a very pleasant lady very helpfull we enjoy our short stay and will most definitely stay there again, it was safe and secure with everything you needed and more thank you for your hospitality.

Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

Martin’s cottage in Parktown North is a great place to stay in Joburg. It’s located in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and is walkable to coffee shops and restaurants, etc. It’s located on a quiet, tree-lined street. Martin was a fantastic host, proactive and responsive and making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I’d highly recommend the cottage and Martin as a host for visitors to Joburg!

I am familiar with the estate with stays in the neighborhood before. I found the setting of this unit really nice and private. Although I had planned to be out on Saturday, circumstances required me to attend to a matter and I found the unit in particular the outside patio, very suitable to do my work. With the dairy farm just down the road it took a mere 20 min walk in the afternoon to collect a nice Ice-cream. The weather was a splendid winters day which made it extra enjoyable. Both mornings I walked around the Oval, a great feature of this estate. If I need another stay in future this unit will definitely be my preference if available. I had a comfortable stay at Louise's property. The place was sparkling clean and you get to have your own space. The host is very responsive at all times and she allowed me to check out at any time since it was a public holiday that day, I appreciated that gesture as I was not in too much of a hurry to leave the place. She also offered to have my laundry done since I was there for a couple of days, I unfortunately saw the message on the last day of my stay but luckily I didn't need any clothes to be washed. Thank you Louise for being an amazing host. I got to enjoy a walk around the area as well, it is very peaceful and secure.

Beautifully decorated cottage in lovely location next to the park, coffee shop and shops. Spent a lovely Christmas there, had an amazing kitchen with everything you could need.

Had great time at the place, Very neat and clean. Joy was very responsive and kept the place clean throughout my visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Monique's and will certainly stay there again if in Pretoria. We will just not stay in the same room again as the absence of a shower detracted from a lovely room and stay. We understand other rooms have showers and we shall look at booking one of these next time.

This was our first time in Johannesburg, and we were initially quite concerned about safety. However, we were much reassured by the smooth self check-in process, in-compound parking, double-gated access to the premises, and very cozy house for us to relax and enjoy our time in the city. Everything we needed was available plus much more - the free breakfast items were a great touch! The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet for a peaceful sleep. We were saddened not to have scheduled more days in Johannesburg with such a pleasant place to stay! Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Ohh Melinda! What a great time we had. It felt like home away from home and Melinda and Ignitious were so welcoming. We laughed a lot with them and really made us feel comfortable. I was soo happy they were okay a late check out and the house was just warm and full of love,definitely going back on my next trip! Thank you Melinda!!!!!

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Orlando’s place was absolutely incredible. It was my home away from and have never been so comfortable. The place was even better than what it looked like. So comfortable, him and his family took amazing care of me. I never had any problems there, they had a really warm gas heater that was replaced as soon as I mentioned its finished. Lovely quiet neighborhood and very tranquil, I love nature so I was really happy to be surrounded by trees and birds all around me. Definitely 10/10 would recommend and go back ! Worth every penny spent.
