We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

The property was simply amazing. The rooms were big each with lovely ensuite bathrooms. It has a well appointed kitchen and a large dining room table that would sit 10 people very comfortably. An added bonus is the dining room table converts to a pool table. The area is extremely quiet away from the hussle and bustle of Johannesburg and superbly situated to get to the various golf courses we were playing as well as some great restaurants. It has all the facilities for entertaining outside including a swimming pool which would be amazing in the summer months, as well as a large garden. The house is kept spotless by housekeeping who came in every day (except Sunday) to clean and make up the rooms. Finally, I cannot say enough about our host Charmaine. Very friendly and responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you Charmaine, you were brilliant and we all thank you for letting us feel so at home!

Our stay was very nice. The house is well set-up and everything was working. We had a waterleak on the farm during our stay and luckily backup provision for water came in very handy. The game viewer made our trip very special.

Kyle ist ein überaus freundlicher Gastgeber. Er ist stehts bemüht, dass alles klappt, bei der Anfahrt, beim Check in und auch wenn sonst Fragen sind ist er erreichbar und antwortet innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Er hat im Haus nützliche Tipps hinterlassen welche Restaurants er empfiehlt (was sehr nützlich war). das Haus ist sehr hell, mit Bodentiefen Fenster die geöffnet werden können. Es ist modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles blitzsauber. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir würden es jederzeit wieder wählen. vielen Dank, Kyle!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process super easy. The location was great, close to everything Harties has to offer. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Our reservation for the size of our group stay was super! The rooms were huge, private and super neat and clean. The ample bathrooms in the house eases the load and no waiting for others to finish. The entertainment and dining areas were so well planned which makes this house an ideal place for a huge family reunion, group or corporate outing or even a workshop for a small executive group. The kitchen is huge and had lovely amenities. Even the cottage was clean and neat, as our big group of 15 utilized all the facilities. We had a power failure in the house but was quickly attended to and there were daylight alternatives. Housekeeping is right up there.

what a wonderfull weekend in an amazing house with amazing facilities. The huge garden let us set up our badminton nets, soccer nets and the under cover boat house was amazing. The help that lives on the propperty was extraordinary and avalible all day when needed. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure

The pictures do not do it justice. What a beautiful home with stunning views of the dam. Multiple seating areas inside and outside. Electric blankets and air conditioning provided which really made our stay more comfortable. Spacious bedrooms with enough bathrooms. Would recommend getting more serving dishes and food storage containers especially because the house caters for a large number of guests. Otherwise , no complaints. Responsive host and caretaker. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay – everything was perfect! The apartment was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Communication was fast and easy at all times. A special thank you to Jakob – he was incredibly warm, reliable, and always helpful. His kind and attentive way of communicating made us feel very welcome. A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Had a great stay, no interruptions, very private and quite refreshing scenery

Our family long weekend away was great. We were an intergenerational group ranging of nephews from 15 to 19 and to my husband, cousin and me (58 to 62) to my mum of 89. The guestrooms were lovely and spacious and the outside showers were hot and enjoyed by everyone. Great game viewing right outside our door: zebra warthog, Kudu, impala, monkeys and pheasant. We enjoyed the activities available at the Activity Centre: the boys went quadbiking, played golf and tennis. The ladies went for Spa treatments. The house is beautifully laid out with lovely living rooms and areas for family to enjoy. I loved the kitchen - it is so well equiped! Paulinah the helper was also very good and cleaned the house very well Linda our host was so responsive and always available when we had questions. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our stay at Yana’s beautiful 3-bedroom Airbnb was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — even better than the photos. She even kindly had fresh flowers for our stay put in. The living areas were spacious and perfect for relaxing together after a day of exploring. Yana has thought of everything — from a fully stocked kitchen to small, thoughtful touches like fresh coffee, cozy blankets, and local recommendations. The WiFi was strong, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The location was fantastic as well — quiet, safe, and conveniently close to everything we needed, from restaurants and cafes to parks and shopping. Rosebank is only 4 mins away by car. Above all, Yana was an outstanding host — responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. We had a wonderful stay because the place was exactly as advertised. The caretaker( Tishash) was there to assist and was welcoming, although there were a few things that did not meet my expectations.... Like finding cockroaches at the place, the awful smell of the water, and also the gravel road to get to the place was abit of the distance with lots of potholes.

We had an absolutely wonderful 5-day stay at this Airbnb — truly one of the best we’ve experienced. The house has been beautifully remodeled, with all-new, high-quality furnishings and appliances that are not only functional but also thoughtfully chosen and stylish. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need — from the kitchen to the bedrooms — without feeling cluttered. The attention to detail really stood out, and everything felt fresh, clean, and inviting. The host is friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended — we would absolutely stay here again!

I loved my stay at Dream before Dawn and would recommend this home when travelling to Pretoria. The home was exactly as described and there were lovely extra touches like fresh fruit and muffins, water and juice bottles, all the bathroom amenities and soaps etc. The host was very proactive and response to my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed.

This was truly a place of great peace and tranquility. This is a perfect escape for a group of family or friends! The garden is lush and the view of the river so scenic. The house is also beautifully furnished. We spend hours on the patios enjoying the garden view and the fairy lights at night. Coffee in the morning sun on one of the two patios come highly recommended. Hilde also welcomed us with a tasty apple pie home bake. You also have plenty of places to visit in the area and a very easy drive to Hartebeespoort dam. The place is also near Lanseria airport. Do yourself a favour and book.
