Cottage holiday rentals in North Savo

This place is amazing !! Only good things to say about it ! The host olavi, was so nice and helpful. Every thing was perfekt !!

The villa is just as it is in the pictures and the presentation text, i.e. really wonderful. Everything was really neat and the decor was so beautiful, the fresh flowers were wonderful, also the fresh fruit and chocolate was a happy surprise. The kitchen equipment was really good and there was a choice of beautiful dishes, I was able to make beautiful table settings. The beds were good to sleep in and had beautiful sheets. We enjoyed a wonderful beach sauna and a warm hot tub. The dog was also taken into account and had food/drink cups and a small towel. All instructions were clear and Petra responded quickly. I will definitely come here again.

The place was a bit tricky to find but a nice man pointed us to the right house. Likely, we weren't the first 😅 The instruction manual was only in Finnish which was a bit tricky. Otherwise the place was amazing, very well situated. It was a pitty that the sauna was outside but it wasn't a problem. Shame that the heater couldn't get the sauna reasonably hot to about 90°C. It could also use a thermometer. The hot tub didn't work during our stay but Salla was quick to resolve it with a refund. We were 2 couples there which wasn't ideal but 2 people with children will have a great stay there. There were enough means to get yourself warm - sauna, floor heating, fireplace and AC. The place has no WiFi. The terrace has quite a drop to the ground - no issue for us because we created stairs from snow but during summer it must be a big drop.

The place is great! Raija's cottage is compact: small, but well equipped. Our group of 8 people fit comfortably to spend the weekend. The cottage and the barns were wonderfully cool even though the outside temperature was already quite high. The barrel sauna offered incredibly wonderful and gentle steam baths for the whole group at once. Raija gave comprehensive instructions on how to use the cottage. I'd love to come back to the place sometime! 👌🏻

Super cozy mökki in a calm and gorgeous place, perfect for Juhannus! The lake was great for swimming, the wood sauna was super nice, and even though you feel like you are in the middle of the woods, the grocery store is super close by. Seija is super nice and the communication went well. Me and my friends (7 people and a dog) had an amazing time so I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful vacation home. Really great location overlooking the lake. The lake is deep and clean - ideal for swimming and boating. Original Finnish mökki experience, far away from everything in nature.

The house is located in a quiet place and has a charming old beach sauna. The premises are clean and spacious; suitable for those traveling with a dog. The hostess was particularly warm and helpful.

Beautiful place, better than on the pictures. Great location, easy national park access with the boat. Perfect sauna with direct access to the lake. Very serene.

It was a wonderful week. The house is really fantastic and the amenities could hardly be better. We felt super comfortable and will definitely come back again. Marko is also a perfect and very open and friendly host. The house is a hot tip!

We had wonderful stay. Visited with two kids and grandparents. Superb location, beautiful yard, roomy & comfortable apartment and lovely sauna. Top stuff. The sauna is simply amazing and there is good little sand beach for a swim. Perfect for little kids. Outdoor fireplace was very nice for some lettu and sausages. Communications with Johanna was very easy and she was very helpful in.L numerous ways. Do recommend indeed and thank you for having us!

The adorable Three Bear Cottage provided two adults and one child with a peaceful place to sleep in a scenic setting. Saana was an excellent hostess with whom everything went smoothly. We felt welcome throughout the visit. The sauna and swimming in the lake were idyllic. Special thanks for the greeting of the house and excellent breakfast! The clean cottage had fresh bedding and comfortable mattresses. Although there was little space, it was well used. The cottage had supplies for making coffee and tea, and you got your own snacks in the fridge. We highly recommend this unique place to stay!

A cabin in a quiet lakeside location. The house has absolutely everything you need for life. There is a sauna near the house. There is a boat and you can fish. The nearest town and supermarkets are a 12-minute drive away. At first the host didn't respond to messages and we were a little worried. But in 24 hours, she sent check-in instructions. The instructions are a little unclear and lacks the coordinates of the house. Maybe if she was in English it would be better because the translation from Finnish is not perfect. If you are coming from the south, the gps takes you to a dead end to a closed barrier. It can be opened, or you can drive in from the turn that is to the north. Please note, the listing says that cleaning is not included in the price, but the cost is not included. It turned out that you need to pay extra for cleaning another 120 euros!!! We left the house in perfect condition, not clear why such a high price. Overall, I liked everything.

Nice and Quiet area. The apartment is very modern, equipped with everything you need. Alena was very accommodating and helpful. The stay was very pleasant.

We had a wonderful 15 days in this lovingly furnished and waterfront accommodation. Swimming in the lake every morning, absolute tranquility and a fishing boat that was available to us free of charge the entire time and was already waiting for us in the water. Manu and his wife surprised us with a delicious homemade smoked fish and irresistible fish soup. Thank you very much for these extraordinary days. We will be back! We were able to launch our own rowboat well and moor it at the jetty during our stay. The house is bright and cozy, lots of windows and you can see from east to west on the water. Wonderful sunsets! Wood was always available, the sauna is sooo cozy and individually designed. There are many cranberries and the kitchen offers everything necessary for processing. You shower in the sauna, there is a really good outdoor toilet and a separate toilet for the night in the house.

We had a great stay in the little cabin on the lake. It is really quiet, no direct neighbors. Communication was straightforward, friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped, we lacked nothing. What you might want to know is that the stairs to the sleeping area are really steep. All in all, you can spend a time here.
