Family-friendly holiday rentals in North East Lincolnshire

Just stayed here for 5 days with family and grandchildren, we loved the hot tub impecibly clean and house well equipped with all we needed. Lots of space for us all, very nicely decorated with lovely touches like the welcome pack. Would definitely recommend and we would stay again. Just a little thing and this isn't a criticism, a parasol of some sort would have been good for a bit of shade.

We all just wanted to say a huge thank you. From the moment we made the booking right through to the end of our stay, we were thoroughly impressed with the communication, the absolutely stunning barn, and all the thoughtful little touches. We were there to celebrate a hen do, and it was all a surprise for the bride. To say she was blown away by the barn would be an understatement – we all were! We’e never stayed anywhere so beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need – and more. The barn itself and the surrounding area were simply gorgeous. The hot tub was the largest any of us had ever seen, and the amount of space – both inside and out – was incredible. The lovely ladies who welcomed us made us feel at home the moment we arrived. It’s in a perfect location: close to everything, yet it feels like your own peaceful little retreat. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to family and friends. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay. The location was very peaceful and in beautiful countryside. Great for walks with the dog. Hot tub was a perfect way to relax. We would definitely visit again.

Bedrooms were fairly spacious with the two doubles having nice views too. Bathroom was lovely but didn’t have a lock on the door. Kitchen was easy to use but could do with a little more kitting out. Television isn’t smart and there is no wifi so would recommend taking a console. The pool outside is nice and clean, some beach chairs and inflatables to enjoy. There are also nice picnic tables outside to have a meal at. The place is adjoining to another apartment so it is a bit more lacking in privacy than expected. The host Marii is absolutely lovely, she was very welcoming and helpful, and went above and beyond.

Cannot recommend this barn (and the others!) enough! This is my second visit to this gorgeous place and is my favourite staycation by far! All the amenities are amazing, from the gorgeous rooms, the INCREDIBLE hot tub, the space, the wonderful kitchen and bbq! It’s such a treat staying here and hate leaving when we do! Super short trip into town if you want to explore but to be honest, the barn is too nice to leave! Thank again to such a wonderful host that is so welcoming! Hopefully see you next year!

An absolutely fantastic stay - we wish we'd have been able to book another couple of nights but it was already booked - lucky to have got a couple of nights. Location was perfect, super private garden/hot tub and secure for furry friends. No complaints at all. 👌🏼

Great, modern house. The massive hot tub was definitely the highlight, along with some food gifts that greeted us on our arrival. Would recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage(2 adults, a 14 and an 11 year old), it was such a lovely place and so peaceful and private. A lovely garden and so amazingly close for the beach and walks along the dunes and salt marshes. Lots of kite flying, playing on the sand and then watching the rabbits run into the dunes in the evening. We saw deer prints on the beach but didn't spot them! Heard loads of cuckoos! Thank you for the gorgeous lemon cake and wine on arrival and the house had everything we needed. Very comfy beds! It really was lovely and we hope to come again. Many thanks Charlie.

Great stay. Sandra’s a wonderful host. Loved the welcoming touch of biscuits and coffee on arrival. Lovely cottage, lots of room and really well equipped. Super clean too. Lots of information on the local area and amenities provided by Sandra. Beaches and area are stunning, perfect for long dog walks.

Clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen and two large bedrooms each with own toilet and shower within a 5 minute walk if the Cleethorpes sea front

We had a great stay in the cottage, 2 adults and 1 giant dog, we always check with the host first if they have any size restrictions on dogs and luckily Denise confirmed any size dog can stay! Very quiet location, only downside is that the cottage doesn’t have its own garden, we took our dog across onto the verge opposite for a leg stretch, it wasn’t a problem for us as we were only using it for a sleeping base but would have missed a garden if we were spending more time in the cottage. Very clean and tidy place with everything you could need, would definitely return if we are back in the area. We bought some lovely homemade Jam from Denise for our breakfast!

Paul was an absolutely fantastic host, this place is perfect for family gatherings and weekends away from the city. Paul even was lovely enough to show us round his farm, the baby cows were a brilliant sight to see. Be sure to book through his website rather than AIR BNB for cheaper prices. Me and my group of friends had a fabulous weekend away, amazing escape from London. and there’s more rooms available than shown if you need more space for a larger gathering!

Enjoyed the walks , so close to the beach , relaxing and cosy home.

Wonderful stay and the cabin was perfect, adjacent to the village pub. The cabin was owned by the village pub, which had welcoming locals and served great food. We will definitely be rebooking later in the summer.

Many thanks to Marshall for making our 4th visit to Byford Lodge as good as the previous strips. Although we have some knowledge of the area, Marshall was very quick to pass on recommendations for walks, etc. Special thanks for sharing the history that goes with the main house and the lodge. If you've never visited Lincolnshire, you cannot go wrong by using Byford Lodge as your base for fantastic walks across the wolds or a short drive to the coast if a beach is your "thing". Lough itself has all the amenities that one could want for a self catering holiday, and we will definitely be returning again soon.

Really nice week away in Lincolnshire! Was close to all surrounding towns and the seaside. Very nice, quiet location. Home had everything we could've hoped for and more! Living space was spacious and great; bedrooms were comfy. Really nice time was had by us all :)

Absolute gem of a stay! Such a clever extension, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed to have everything you need and with loads of beautifully crafted items. Pru gave us eggs, bread, homemade lemon curd and some other bits when we arrived which was such a nice touch. Very clear instructions, recommendations for the local area and very responsive to our questions. It was our first stay away on our own with our 10 week old, and Pru provided a beautiful (handmade!) moses basket for our baby to sleep in as well as a little basket of sensory toys for her, which she loved! She was kind about the crying and the space felt very separate from the house due to the use of the porch to split into two houses. I would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Unique and beautiful space close to Hull, Beverley and an easy drive to the coast.

15 minute drive to the auditorium where we were working for the week. Comfy bed, good shower, plenty of parking. 4 double beds, 4 sets of keys so we could come and go as we please. No complaints from us. Great everything. Thanks very much.
