Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Dakota

We felt right at home in this very cute Airbnb! It was beautiful & clean, in a very peaceful neighborhood and happened to be on the same street where I grew up. Total nostalgia! ♥️ Plus there’s a whole downstairs area to hang out, visit and/or watch TV. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to try the owner’s Thai restaurant but definitely will next time! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This is a peaceful property just outside of a very small town. The road in front of the house is somewhat busy, but the backyard is so peaceful, as it is surrounded by water. There are ducks, geese, cormorants, and herons to watch in summer. The farmhouse has some very nice updates including an electronic thermostat, Alexas, a huge TV, and a brand new looking stove and fridge. There are four beds in pleasant rooms plus a big L-shaped couch. There is a dining room table and two bathrooms. The big sunroom has the sliding door to the backyard as well as a fireplace. Bring your own wood if wanting to use the fireplace. There is a gas grill in the patio. Very dog friendly, although the yard isn't fenced. Wonderful spacious place to relax.

Me and my buddies enjoyed Memorial day weekend here, the pool and Sauna combo was fantastic.

Had a great time with a group of guys and dogs hunting upland birds. was great to have a home base and a place to cook our breakfast and dinners. Had plenty of space for us and our gear and was very accommodating during the severe winter weather. would stay there again when we get back up that way.

Heather was an amazing host! We arrived late and she left a light on for us. She was quick to respond and answer my questions. The house was darling! We loved staying there!

Highly recommended for a peaceful, comfortable stay, whether passing through or if you just need a peaceful retreat. Cleanliness was better than satisfactory, although the property is well worn in a nice, comfortable way. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare all of your own meals. The town is really cool... small locally-owned grocery store with friendly folks, a paved walking trail weaves through the town, although it's hardly necessary because there isn't much traffic and you could walk on the wide streets. There is a large hill on the edge of town that was fun to climb... the views were breathtaking. Kami stopped by to check on us and she was very kind. Highly recommended based on cleanliness, comfort, and value!

Great place! Conrad and his wife were extremely accommodating after we requested a booking late in the day for the same night due to some unforeseen circumstances. They were very communicative and had the place ready for us quickly.

Right on Broadway near the shops, restaurants, bars, and Sandy's Donuts. Being there on Saturday night there was evening noise as expected, and ear plugs were provided for sleeping.

Peggy’s place was exactly as described! It was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for a nice stay.

This place is cozy and clean! I am picky with how clean things and this place exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again if I had the opportunity. Also the place was fully equipped with anything you can think of.

My husband and I have nothing but positive things to say about Grandpa's Attic and it's owners! We checked in with our 6-year-old granddaughter, (who was delighted with having her choice of 2 comfy beds), and were pleased right from the start. Everything about this cozy space from the cleanliness, to the lovely decor, amazing artwork, comfortable beds with fresh linens, charming antiques, and even much appreciated snacks and chilled beverages made us feel special and right at home. Our host, Verna, was extremely courteous and prompt when corresponding with us even when we emailed her at the last minute on the day we checked out asking if we could stay another night. We had spent a long day in Medora, it was getting late and we were so thankful when Verna replied within a few minutes, welcoming us back with no problem! Truly, we had everything we needed in Grandpa's Attic and look forward to returning one day, very soon. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We were very satisfied with our stay, everything was clean and instructions were clear. Being that we were staying here for the yearly Fargo Marathon, this was the perfect place to stay, only a 1.3ish mile walk away from the Fargo dome so it was very easy to arrive there without being worried of closed off streets.

I would stay here again. Fantastic location! Big windows in the living room if you're a fan of natural light. I met Mike a couple times in passing and he was very kind. Walk-in closet was very spacious and allowed me to store all my luggage. Ear plugs are provided if you're a light sleeper, but I usually sleep with light music, so sounds from the road weren't a problem for me. Great snacks and ammenities

Great stay! Very clean and host was very responsive. Close to Aneta and Sharon for me! Was just perfect for what I used it for! There’s a nice gas station at the end of town that has everything you can think of.

Peaceful, clean, cozy, and close to downtown Fargo and downtown Moorhead.

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It was a very nice stay. However, it is up two flights of stairs which may not be ideal for some.

Very nice apartment and extremely clean. It was a great place to stop for the night on our trip across North Dakota.

A great stay at Lake Metigoshe. The condo was perfect for our weekend with a beautiful view of the lake right off the deck (2nd floor) and easy access to the restaurant bar next door. Kelsey has the condo decorated so nice and we felt right at home. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen. Books, games and fun decor. We were there in May so thankful to be close to two restaurants and even an ice cream place across the parking lot. (Most other places in town and around the lake weren’t open for season yet) Close to the state park, International Peace garden and the bike trail. You are right in the middle of a popular lake spot and resort atmosphere so it’s busy there on weekends but fun to watch all the boat traffic. Plus the pizza bar was amazing and they made excellent margarita😎bonfire pits too. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Fun place to stay and quick responses from the host!

When getting to the 7th Heaven location it was a seamless process to check in. Once getting into the location it greets you with a welcoming friendliness atmosphere. The location is so clean. The directions are clear and it was very helpful to have local information all in one place! It felt safe and quiet while sleeping. This location would be a very nice place to host a girls weekend or bachelorette party as it is so spacious and is close to downtown. Our host was so incredibly kind and very responsive. I can’t wait to book again!

This was our first time in Fargo and didn’t know what to expect. The condo is so nice and perfect for two people. Close to many restaurants, shops and museums. We walked the entire time, except for an uber trip to the air museum and airport. The people in Fargo are so welcoming! We recommend this condo and area. Once the construction is done across the street, it’s going to be even more inviting.

Our place at Jeremys was great. His place was super clean, meticulously decorated, and had so many sweet personal touches. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big/ perfect for getting ready for the concert we came in town for! Close to everything downtown fargo including a really awesome coffee shop we walked to both mornings! Highly recommend!!!!
