Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Adelaide

Lucinda was always quick to reply to any questions we had when booking the property. It was in an ideal near CBD position but with lovely parks to walk the dogs nearby. Easy to access the city and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Everything we needed was accommodated.

Thank you, it was the most needed stay this year for us after a really tough year last year. This place is my favourite airbnb EVER and made us feel like we were in heaven. Loved that it was super dog friendly and really the place was so well thought out, I overpacked essentials but I know for next time I won't need to!

A great place to stay for a family. The hosts provided a portacot which was a really good one since usually the ones provided can be flimsy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet street and car park in the driveway. Easy self-check in instructions and responsive to communications during stay. Heating very effective for colder days. Be aware of the unlocked glass cabinets with delicate items if you have little curious people, but there is plenty of space for them to play, including a small courtyard and short walk to a playground. 10 minutes to Walkerville shops and access to buses directly to the CBD. 20 minute drive to Tea Tree Plaza so great location overall.

A lovely stay in Bowden - the cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. Edwina was an excellent host too!

Beautiful stay. Very clean and well presented. Mix of modern and old. All amenities were great. Excellent having the two toilets. Would stay again.

This property is amazing. From the moment walking in we felt at home. It was peaceful, well maintained, with lots of extras. Comfortable bedroom. Bathroom was immaculate and well appointed. Couch in living room was so comfortable. Plenty of everything and we loved it. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Deborah’s place. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. A lovely area to stay, lots of places to eat within walking distance and the city very easy to get to.

We loved our stay in Jenny's heritage cottage. Very cosy and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the peaceful backyard space, quite the oasis in central Adelaide.

The apartment is exactly like the photos. There were some thoughtful little touches like some welcome chocolate, lots of dried herbs and spices and coffee and tea. Self check-in and check-out was easy. It’s very walkable to all of Adelaide’s CBD attractions.

Staying at Yun’s place was truly a highlight of my trip. From the moment I arrived, Yun made everything easy and comfortable. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a really peaceful vibe exactly what I needed. What really stood out was Yun’s thoughtful hospitality—she added small personal touches that made it feel more like staying at home than just a rental.

We had a great 3 night stay in Roger’s Airbnb. The space was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen and washer-dryer were great amenities to have. The location made it easy to get around either by walking (i.e central markets were less than 1km away) or by car. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base in Adelaide!

This was my 2nd stay at this property within the month. Well located, easy to access, amazing and responsive host, and modern apartment with balcony. It is walking distance to some nice restaurants and cafes. Property has everything you need for the stay- clean, tidy, and kitchen has everything you need for stay. Will be looking out for this apartment in my future travels and stay in Adelaide.

We had a lovely stay at Katherine's Airbnb. She was a super host - very responsive, helpful and generous. It was lovely to meet her after a long flight and have her show us to the apartment and explain things. The apartment itself was in a fantastic location opposite Rundle mall with some very very good food spots nearby. A short walk to the central markets if you want even more options. Plenty of coffee options around too. The apartment was the best equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at - without feeling cluttered or junked up. The kitchen was fully equipped - even down to nice plastic containers we could put lunch in to take with us for the kids. Speaking of traveling with the kids, this Airbnb was great for that. Katherine kindly provided a high chair, a portacot and toys which made our traveling so so much easier. The enclosed balcony was lovely at all times of the day, and we weren't scared of our toddler climbing off. Thank you Katherine! Highly highly recommended.

What a lovely spot! So cosy, so clean, everything you need, great balcony (felt very paris!), SUCH good central location walkable to CBD / Botanic Gardens etcs..but you don't feel like you're that central when you're cosied up in your little nest! All the info is so carefully and thoughtfully provided so you know exactly what to do and where to go.. maybe just read it first! We were a bit flappy trying to find the car park upon arrival but.. ya know.. I didn't read the info Wren kindly sent WAY in advance. For parents with many bags / prams, there isn't a lift, but our two year old managed the stairs well and actually enjoyed going up and down. Would definitely stay again, Thanks Wren!

Deb’s place was absolutely amazing! Every thoughtful detail was taken care of, and we truly wanted for nothing during our stay. It’s no surprise that her property ranks in the top 1% of Airbnb listings, it certainly deserves the accolade. From the seamless check-in process to the warm welcome of freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine, and delicious chocolates on arrival, everything was perfect. The space itself was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you could hope for thoughtfully provided. Deb’s attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really shines through. We felt completely at home and incredibly well looked after. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this exceptional property to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless and beautifully maintained—it smelled fresh the moment we walked in. After long hours of exploring, it was the perfect relaxing space to come home to. The bed was super comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. One thing we really appreciated was how responsive and helpful Michelle was. Anytime we had a question, she replied quickly and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The apartment was perfect. Easy to find (Alex sent great instructions and photos) in a central location and parking was super easy. The house was so clean and comfy I was sad to leave after only one night.

Apartment was perfectly located in leafy Hindmarsh Square—quiet, safe, and just steps from Rundle Mall. Great pub and restaurant right downstairs. Super convenient and ideal for a city stay. The location felt incredibly safe, even at night, and it was always easy to pop out for a bite to eat or just enjoy a walk through the square. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great base for exploring Adelaide. I’d definitely stay here again, highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or anyone wanting to experience the best of the city while enjoying a peaceful, green setting!

We had a fantastic stay at this North Adelaide apartment. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location on Melbourne Street couldn’t have been better, with fantastic restaurants and cafes right on our doorstep, making it so easy to enjoy the area. Linda was an outstanding host. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Check-in instructions were incredibly clear and easy to follow, and any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully. It really made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, and other essentials was very much appreciated, and the chocolates were such a thoughtful touch. Having access to the secure, gated car park was also invaluable, giving us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide.

Absolutely Perfect Stay in the Heart of Adelaide – 5 Stars! I stayed here and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The apartment is modern, clean, and well-equipped — everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was right at my fingertips. The location is unbeatable, right in the city centre. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, the Central Market, and public transport. Despite being in the heart of Adelaide, the apartment was peaceful and quiet — a great place to unwind after a busy day. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the balcony views were a lovely bonus. Check-in was smooth, communication was excellent, and the host clearly takes pride in maintaining a high standard. I'd happily stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Adelaide for work or leisure. A real gem!
