For use: private beach, 2 kayaks, BBQ, firepit table, internet, dedicated work space, Smart TV w/ Netflix, Bose speaker, basic gym (bands & kettlebell), board & beach games, books and fully stocked kitchen. Strict 1 car, 2 person policy given small holding tank size - must be comfortable with 3 point turn req'd to exit narrow lane.

Welcome to the River House, our tranquil retreat located in the town of Port Dover(90 minutes south of Toronto). -Whether you're seeking a peaceful family getaway or a romantic escape, The River House has it all. -A short 5-10 minutes walk takes you to beautiful Lake Erie beach, restaurants, Lighthouse and gift shops or head down the river to enjoy nature. -This newly renovated home is by the channel right next door to the Port Dover Yacht Club. Please note: our TV has Netflix but no Cable!

Welcome to your tranquil retreat! Guests enjoy our location on a quiet street. The deck overlooks a peaceful green space with a pond and a variety of wildlife. Guests have a suite downstairs, in addition to the main floor. It is a 5 minute drive to the beach, restaurants, Lighthouse Theatre, live music, and the pier. Norfolk County has 15 wineries/breweries, several beaches, a zip line, and 3 Provincial Parks. Our home is a haven from the hustle and bustle of our busy summer beach town!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Our spacious 1910’s cottage was originally a 2 dwelling home; That means 2 full kitchens, lots of bathrooms, numerous places to hang out and get cozy. Large sunroom with plenty of seating and places to eat. Side and front porch sitting plus a great fire pit with lots of wood to keep the s’mores rolling. Our cottage is a 2 minute walk to Normandale’s beach (a hidden gem). 2 Kayaks + 1 kid kayak available for our guests to use .

We are tucked away at the end of a dead end road in beautiful Norfolk County, located just a 10 min drive to Simcoe, Pt Dover and Turkey point, which have everything you would need. Relax in our cozy loft - stocked with all the essentials for your visit and enjoy country living! You can visit one of the many wineries or breweries we have in the county, grab some fresh produce at some of the local farm markets, or walk/bike one of the many trails in the area.
