City-centre town house August/September 2025 dates

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars47 months ago
Miriam’s house is very welcoming, it’s her own home & feels cosy & comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard surrounded by plants and loved being so close to the centre of Norwich, just a short walk from shops, cafes, the river & cathedral.

The City Pad, Norwich City Centre. Entire house

Beautiful house, felt just like home. The book with lots of info and history of the house was a lovely touch. Excellent location for walking into the centre of town. Will definitely come back. Thank you Suzy for a wonderful stay.

Private room

ViktorijaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Philip, has a decent place. It was clean and he was helpful with my suitcase and flexible with check in. Offered me to use the kitchen, was kind at explaining how shower works. Only thing I want to point out is if you’re a light sleeper the walls are quite thin, but that wasn’t my issue as I can sleep through anything, but I noticed that as I have one friend who’s a light sleeper so I know it would be important to her. The way to Philips by foot was a bit scary at night as a girl on her own, just something to know. Otherwise the place was great for what I needed - a safe place to stay. Thanks, Philip!

Unique historic house in city centre: sleeps 7 +.

PaulRating, 5 stars46 months ago
This is an unexpected treasure in a fascinating, historic area of Norwich. The house has lots of character and is tucked away down a quiet pedestrian alleyway. It’s a few minutes’ walk from most central areas so very well situated and a stone’s throw from the river. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Number 19, Comfortable selfcatering

JonathanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Easy to find, it’s a place that feels just like home. Wonderful to have breakfast in the lovely garden, it’s a real sun trap! Close to everything, easy to get to and with off-road parking, which is a rarity in the area. Comfortable, clean and with everything you need for a great break. Responsive and understanding host.

Cosy attic room in historic city-centre house

RafaelRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Anna and her husband are very good hosts. They immediately make you feel at home. The communication was very clear from the start and they are both very willing to help in any way they can by giving directions or making it easier to ensure parking near the property. Anna even gave us free admission tickets for the Castle (but it was closed for renovations). Still the museum by the Castle is well worth a visit (Boudica, Romans, Anglo Saxons, Vikings... and more). The property is located within walking distance of Cathedral, Castle, Market place, Guildhall, etc.. and many different restaurants too. The bedroom was in the attic as described but quite comfortable and secluded. The sounds of seagulls, later on those of violin music (Anna) and the breeze through the window were quite a treat. I fully recommend this place and these hosts.

Slow living Georgian townhouse in centre of Holt

AyishaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay in Holt, the property has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay and is so well located both to walk to shops and restaurants in the town, but also as a base to drive to the local coastal areas.

A beautiful family house in the centre of Cley

stephenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This property is in a perfect location- two great pubs nearby - we would in particular mention the quality of food at the Hanser. The extensive garden is well- suited to al fresco eating, and the barbecue gives it an extra dimension. Local area also great for walking, being very close to the Norfolk coastal path- we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

HistoricTown House Exclusive useDesign - G Skipper

PaulRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Lovely, historic house within walking distance of the city centre. Some nice architectural features on show with lots of rooms beyond the three good-sized bedrooms - plenty of space to relax in. Lovely pool, kitchen and dining area and more garden around the side of the property which you might otherwise overlook. A quiet, residential location yet it’s only a short walk to the local shops and barely a mile to the city centre. Jane was awfully responsive and very helpful. Would definitely recommend should you want a nice place in Norwich (and did we mention the pool?!)

Limetrees

BobbyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful, homely place that suited the extended family of grandma, us and our adult children. Lovely, green and quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance to the seafront and restaurants as well as a short drive to many other local attractions. We really enjoyed our short break here and would recommend Clare’s place without hesitation.

The Pilchard by Big Skies Cottages

EdwardRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Perfect stay for a multi generation family, lots of space for everyone and good for young kids too. Having stayed in wells before I would say this is the best place given the size of the house, parking for two cars but still walkable to the beach, town etc. Wells is a brilliant place for kids, and you can actually see the amazing playground from the property. We will certainly stay here again when we inevitably return. Only thing I would say about the property is that it doesn’t include towels - only a small issue but would be better to have them included.

SandraRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Loved our stay in the property, it was very clean and had all the things we needed to make it a comfortable visit. The double bed was great but the sofa bed was a bit short for our son. Perfect location to see all the highlights of Norwich and coast, would stay again

Coast House Cromer - Sleeps 15, hot tub, sea views

LawrenceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Recently stayed for our annual big family getaway and had a fantastic stay, the house was perfectly adequate for all 15 of us! The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked a big meal every night, the location is great too, easy walking distance into the town, and lots to do locally. We visited Felbrigg Hall and Hillside animal sanctuary, both within 6-7 mins by car. I’d particularly reccomend the animal sanctuary if you have children, it’s free of charge and the kids really enjoyed it! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Cromer!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Comfortable, family friendly four bedroom house

SandraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Family of six, that found the house comfortable, warm, inviting and very practical. Everything was there to make our Norfolk break easy and stress free. Jane has thought of everything a family on a self-catering holiday could need. We made good use of the kitchen, preparing daily rustic home cooked meals with ease. Jane's responsiveness also really helped us quickly settle in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay x

Krisztina's place is cosy and warm. Stayed for a few days with my family and a few kids and the kids loved the place. Check in was very easy and Krisztina gladly accomodated our request to check in early evening though she had guests checking out on the same day. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing coastal house, with beautiful sea views

ShannonRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Me and my family stayed here for Christmas and had such an amazing time! There was so much space and the place was lovely - exactly as described and shown in the photos! The house was also beautifully decorated for the festive period which made us feel right at home and the location allowed for a Christmas Day walk on Cromer beach. Sophie was always super helpful and responsive, and was really flexible when we wanted to check out slightly later on Boxing Day. I can only recommend both Sophie and this beautiful house and would definitely stay again!
