Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

The main cabin has all facilities with shower, 1.5 bathrooms, modern kitchen with all appliances, 2 toilets and heat pump. There is a majestic view from every window with great ski slopes, good hiking trails and many small waters with good fishing. Only 30 min from Veggli/Rødberg and 90 min from Kongsberg, but when you arrive you will really feel that you are in the mountains. Less than 1 hour to the alpine center.

Large and cozy family cabin at Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from highway 7. Road all the way up which was plowed in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernized and expanded in 2015. There are nice outdoor areas where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well-behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring bed linen and towels. Guests must clean before departure, but may choose to use our regular help for washing (see below).
