Its oldest nucleus presumably dates back to the 13th – 14th century. The unit is made up of three rooms with attention to detail to rediscover the warm atmosphere of the alpine houses. "Casa Morenica" is a building from the 1900s, located in Montalto Dora, on the Via Francigena, 2 km from Ivrea. Renovated in 2023, it consists of two separate rooms, used as guest rooms. It is about 50 km from Turin and 60 km from Aosta. Within walking distance of Ivrea train station, 30 minutes on foot and 15 by bike. The "Parco dei 5 laghi" area starts a few hundred meters away, going up towards the castle. Less than two minutes away: two restaurants, two bars and a take-out pizzeria.
