Lakefront camp

We took the canoe out every day it didn’t rain. Saw and heard loons every day, and the kids fished off the dock. Lake view is gorgeous.

Loon Lodge

Our third visit to this cozy place by the lake. Simple, yet has everything one needs. We love it. Even saw a loon though wished it had called!

Cozy Lakefront Cabin * CampChamp

LaurenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Loved this nature find...we swam, we canoed, we fired up the campfire with s'mores galore...with pristine views! All as described and great thoughtful touches in the cabin and yard. We had a nature oasis here that was hard to leave...but we also had some fun finds locally with dinner across the pond at the stunning Toddy Pond Farm! And we meandered over to The Lost Kitchen shop which is only 20 mins away.

Unique Octagonal House with Private Beach!

SamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Simply magical! Cozy and fun space. We enjoyed watching eagles and ospreys fish, seals pop their heads up, and even an adorable family of foxes from the comfort of the living room! Kitchen had all necessities for cooking most meals at home. A nice trail for walking down the road and an awesome beach where the kids threw stones and searched for seaglass each afternoon. We were all sad to leave!

Cozy Lakefront Cabin - Hope Floats

WillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

The Perch and Roost on Damariscotta Lake

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Elaina’s cabins are a real life sanctuary! First off—the landscape felt like you were in a forest all while being on a lake. There were an abundance of Lady Slippers, a delicate Maine flower that is rarely seen, and beautiful vegetation surrounding the property. The sunsets and sound of peepers + loons at night were calming and therapeutic. The swimming was excellent—and the dock is not tippy but rather sturdy and unlike most and therefore great for older folks or people with limited mobility. Elaina had so many extra amenities for the outside like kayaks, floats, two diving docks, life jackets, fishing poles, etc. She also provided thick, quality beach towels, regular towels, and linens. She even provides nail files, pumice stone, clippers—there is a washer and dryer with detergent, tons of cookware, flatware + plates/bowls. There are tons of games and books too. The smaller cabin, The Roost, was our haven for the week. We rebooked for August. Overall, 12/10! 🥹

We have enjoyed the stay at Patricia’s place. It’s well designed and decorated. It’s cozy and yet fully functional. Patti is super nice and we had a wonderful conversation about Damariscotta. We would strongly recommend Patricia’s place anyone who should have chance to visit Damariscotta.

Bright and Beautiful Farmhouse at Wanderwood

PaulinaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Our family came up to Matt & Kelsey’s farmhouse to celebrate our daughters birthday. What we did not expect was to be transported to an idyllic sanctuary where time freezes. Every corner of both the home and majestic property invites one to forget whatever they were experiencing before their arrival & simmer within the woods, mist & Primordial which inhabits Us somehow. There are many ways to compose poetry. I believe that what we learned at Wanderwood was a language of Rewilding.
