Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Nikiana

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. Thank you again Elena!

Great stay at Michael’s and what a lovely host! He was so helpful and communicative and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. It is a longer walk than specified on the listing to town etc but we rented bikes and were happy with this. Overall, a lovely stay. :)

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

Giannis was extremely helpful, guided us with recommendations and was very generous. His mother greeted us at the airbnb and was extremely kind. Everything was very clean. Super comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. We had telephone contact and Chris quickly came to explain and escort us inside so that we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private pool was super. Now the second villa happened to not be rented so even more privacy but even if it was you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point to go in all directions from there. Any tip is a few more tea towels and dishcloths for the kitchen.

Christina and Stavros were very kind, cheerful and communicative, we felt like we went to our relatives. The environment was spotless, in 10 steps you were in the most idyllic spot of Lygia Lefkada with excellent options to relax, eat well and swim. It will definitely be our first choice when we visit Lefkada again!!!

We had a few very nice days in our accommodation in Lefkada. The owner was very hospitable and took great care of us. His mother, an elderly woman, was also very sociable and kind. She even gave us a few flowers. It would have been nice to know a little Greek :)

The villa is set in a very peaceful setting but it is not isolated with lovely places to eat just a couple of minutes walk away and opposite a place where you could hire bikes and water activities equipment as well as go for a drink, play pool and board games and swim in their larger beautiful pool. Having this across the street was a real bonus as we could go for a drink after eating and we had a lot of fun with the people that run the bar and the locals that also go there most nights. The villa is ideal for families and Nikos was always responsive to anything we asked with lots of recommendations for places to go, beaches, restaurants and anything else we asked about. The villa is very well equipped and he even supplied insect repellent tablets and things to burn outside. Overall I would really recommend this accommodation.

Villa Amoudia was perfect for our needs. The Villa was exactly as described in the photos and details, and the location was ideal; close to village, great views and peaceful. The host Barbara was very friendly and responsive. We are thinking of returning!

Heaven on earth!!..Breathtaking views..so peaceful & surrounded by nature..A bright light pristine space indoors & outdoors is a space to chill & soak in the views for hours..Can’t rate it highly enough..& Natalie is wonderful & so helpful..We just fell in love with it!..

Everything was fine. The studios are big and have everything you need. the view from the balcony is a dream and the swimming pool is a big plus in the conditions in which it was very Communication with Sifi was easily achieved. A problem would be related to Wifi, the signal being better only upstairs. In conclusion, it was a pleasant stay at Sifi.

Lovely villa with super patio space, and nice to be so close to a few restaurants in the village. We had a great time.

Mavra, the host, tries to do everything to make you feel comfortable. Everything was walkable. The atmosphere was relaxed. A nice little sailing school on the complex. This created a bit of excitement and fun. A restaurant with delicious food and happy hour. Breakfast could be booked.

The villa was exactly as described and Panagiotis was a wonderful host with good communication and extensive recommendations. We did a few day trips out using Thomas the taxi driver and this allowed us to see more of the island, but without needing a car.

We had a brilliant holiday in Fiscardo and staying at Villa Dioni was the perfect place to be. The location is breathtaking (make sure you put your foot down to power a car up the drive!) with spectacular views of the ocean and Assos in the distance. The photos don’t do the villa justice… it’s bigger and more spacious than they look. Lovely quality fittings, very comfortable beds and a great pool. Highly recommend as a base to explore this beautiful island. Many thanks Demi and Anna.

Simeoni was a fantastic host and met us on arrival. She kindly gave us some recommendations of what to do and there was also a folder available in the property with all the local attractions in. The villa is within walking distance of the town and the local beautiful beach so we didn't need a car and the buses are available in town to take you to the must see sights slightly further afield. The villa itself was spotless and had everything you need and Simeoni very kindly came in half way through our stay to do a clean. It was wonderful having the pool and it was extremely private and not over looked. It was a great place to stay with plenty of room for our family of 4 and we had a wonderful holiday there.

Pikramigdalia is really a beautiful, peaceful place for all those who like simplicity and a little seclusion. Beautiful trees and flowers, very old olive trees stand on the grounds around the small, old cottage. Through the trees, there is a view of the sea and distant mountains. The house conveys history and is still equipped with everything you need. In the bend on the way to the house, there is a footpath to the village and the sea, which takes about 20 to 30 minutes. We thought it was very nice there and were able to relax well.

My family and I had a great time at Katerina's place. We were greeted by Mrs. Nausicaa, her mother, who provided us with any help we needed. The house was very clean and suited us on our vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped and the mattresses on the beds extra comfortable. The unique aircondition that was in the living room cooled the rest of the rooms although it would be better to have one more in the master bedroom. The internet connection was adequate. The area where the house is located is quiet and is about 200 meters from the main road of Nikiana, with the road that leads to the house is narrow and does not fit two cars (we were lucky and we did not meet with another car on our vacation days). Nikiana is a convenient place to explore Lefkada with all the basics a family may need (supermarkets, taverns, bakery, etc.) and with a remarkable beach for swimming.

We had two lovely weeks at Patricia’s place. The house perfectly corresponds to the description, it’s 1 min away from the beach, bakery, taverns, and cafes. If you are looking for less crowded beaches, you can walk a bit further on the left (southern) and you will find some other hidden but still amazing spots. Anyway, a car is highly recommended to visit the island. The house is fully equipped (air conditioning, washing machines, dishwasher) and very clean.
