The bath is glass-enclosed, and you can see the outside view from the bathtub. The bed is a semi-double bed. For 4 guests, you'll need to put a futon in the living room. The nearest bus stop (Hojo Koko Mae) is a 3-minute walk, JR station (Iyo Hojo) is a 9-minute walk, a drug store is a 4-minute walk, a convenience store is a 6-minute walk, and a supermarket is an 8-minute walk. In a magnificent old house at the end of a Ghibli-like forest road, you can enjoy BBQs, campfires, Goemon baths, and other natural activities that can only be enjoyed in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountains with your whole body, which you can see in each season, is an irreplaceable pleasure. It is an old-fashioned house with a magnificent main pillar, earthen walls, and built-in storage, but the first floor is completely covered with cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

It is a safe and convenient location within walking distance of the limited express station, shopping district, and the famous "Zenigata sand painting". As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.
