This place was great. Gesele was very helpful and attentive . It was walking distance to the beach and restaurants . Would love to stay here again.

Wish we could have stayed more than one night! Very accommodating hosts and lovely accommodations. The buffet was delicious too! The pool was stunning and there’s a little kiddy pool too! If I’m back in Costa Rica I will definitely stay here again!

El lugar nos pareció encantador, muy aseado, justo como se indicaba en las fotos. La anfitriona nos recibió muy bien, las instalaciones limpias y hermosas. El apartamento tenía todas las comodidades que ocupábamos. Altamente recomendados. De nuestra parte muy agradecidos con la anfitriona y esperamos regresar en un futuro próximo.

Best location; walk to everything in town/beach. Loved the pool area and Destiny cafe was the icing on the cake. Amazingggg food/smoothies/ staff. Would absolutely recommend this spot and stay here again. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating as well.

The place is awesome! It’s got a great vide, love the pool, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The room is super clean, and comfortable. The place has a great laid back vibe. Ryan is an awesome host! He’s a big surfer and has a bunch of surfboards to rent at a great rate. He also has a quad to rent too. He’s super responsive with anything I need. A lot of the people have come back year after year here. And I am definitely coming back next year! I couldn’t recommended enough.

Abie’s place was just as described in a beautiful and serene location! The beds were comfortable and the patio was so peaceful to hang out at. The hotel staff was amazing and so attentive to our family! They were extremely hospitable! The amenities offered were great!

El Manglar is the perfect and best place to stay in Playa Grande. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the location is ideal, and the price is affordable. I love that this is a place owned and run by Ticos. It’s nice to stay at the beach in Costa Rica where the guests aren’t just tourists, but also nacionales. Gracias por todo!

We had a wonderful stay at this jungle villa in Costa Rica! The location is remote and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery—perfect for spotting monkeys and waking up to birds chirping. The villa itself was beautiful, and the pool was such a treat. We especially loved the spa area with the sauna and ice bath—such a unique bonus! You’ll definitely want an ATV or car to get around, as it’s about a 20–30 minute ride to town. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great time mingling with other guests, and while things were a bit more relaxed since we visited during the low season, it sounds like there’s even more going on during high season. Overall, a fun and memorable stay in the jungle—we’d definitely come back!

Logement très bien équipé avec des beaux matériaux. Facile d’accès avec une jolie vue sur l’océan pour les couchers du soleil. Une grande route passe en bas du logement ce qui le rend un peu bruyant. Je recommande si vous voulez vous offrir un parenthèse luxueuse.

We loved Hotel Cantarana! It was the perfect spot to relax before our wedding in Playa Grande. Love the community and how walkable everything is. Loved the coffee shop, restaurant, and private path to the beach. Everyone was so friendly and helpful too. The bed was comfy! The pool was refreshing and very much needed. Really no complaints at all.

Rafael's mother greeted us. So hospitable. They mostly speak only Spanish but this won't be an issue. The access to the beach can't be beat. Love the local feel here. Just be wary of expensive food options around. Hemingways next door was $150 for 2 people. Just one main course each and a few drinks. The area is definitely safe and Tamarindo is not too far away either. Highly recommend taking the two pwerson kayak out to sea and exploring at sunset!

The Airbnb was amazing and very beautiful. It was in the middle of the forest and monkeys were all around us. It was very close to the beach. Thus it is a perfect stay for nature lovers! Thomas has been a great host who responds very quickly and was really helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay in this airbnb.

Pros: Very clean. Daily housekeeping. Good AC. Screens on windows for fresh air but no bugs. Friendly staff. Quiet. Coffee maker and decent coffee grounds provided. Located within 3 minute walk to Civichera Hellen (great ceviche at very reasonable price) and small grocery with fresh fruits (avocado, mango, banana, etc.) Cons: No signage - difficult to find. Gate to parking lot a little tricky to open/close the first time. Only three spots in parking lot. Very tight if there are three cars.

We stayed at victors place for two nights. The place is conveniently located near the city centre of Liberia. Everything is in walking distance. Lots of restaurants close by. The place is as described with TV and mini fridge.

Very clean, private, safe place. The room was beautiful. The only issue we encountered was finding the place. The address provided took us to a completely different location. The people there told us this happens often. After going to the right location, the gate passcode didn't work so we thought that location was also wrong. This was a late last minute booking for us so we understand the host not being available in the middle of the night, but just make sure you are going to the right place - maybe google the Ark Apart hotel to be sure.

Super nice place to stay. You can ask the staff about everything and they‘ll help you:) Nice place with the pool and yoga station. All in all very cute and comfortable!
