Virginie's accommodation is impeccable, clean, tidy, decorated with care. All in a small peaceful village, with magnificent stone buildings. The owners live right next door but the accommodation is completely independent. Free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. Very responsive owners, and appreciable flexibility on schedules. The owners are very welcoming. The castle of Ancy-le-Franc is very beautiful from the outside, we did not have time to visit it, but it is a few minutes from the accommodation. Note (even if it did not bother us, but it is worth knowing), access is via an external staircase (so accommodation not suitable in case of difficulties moving on stairs) and you have to go through the living room (where the sofa bed is) to go from the bedroom to the kitchen or to the toilets. No complete black in the living room. We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises ❤️

Beautiful ‘gite’ next to the owner’s home. The pictures reflected the actual property so no unpleasant surprises! The owners were private and accessible when needed. The location of the home is very quiet in a small village so great for disconnecting, walking or biking and close to champgne and cremant houses! Would recommend - ideally for a family with small children or a couple as it’s less designed for 4 adults.

Large accommodation in a charming old house. Functional. Excellent new bedding. Possibility of using the exteriors. Parking in the enclosed courtyard. We recommend it unreservedly.
