Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

The house was spotless with plenty of room downstairs for us. The main bedroom was large and lovely with an ensuite shower/ toilet. The other 2 bedrooms were smaller but perfect for our needs. All beds were very comfy. The kitchen/diner was VERY well stocked with everything thing we could have needed. Lovely welcome basket with fresh bread and milk with some goodies too and a fresh bag of coffee. Lots of little thoughtful extras, like books, games, doggy items, beach towels and a fab record player! We loved sitting in the garden in the morning and evening. Hardly noticed there were neighbours as it was very peaceful despite being a residential area. We loved our stay and if back in the area would definitely stay again. We stopped over for the night to visirs bemish the next day. Cosy home with lovely bathroom and comfy beds. Good night sleep

We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

Great accomodation, just as described. Close to town centre, lots to do. Very comfortable, clean, welcome hamper, games, and luxury towels.

Great hosts, offering a pristine, fully equipped cottage in a great location. We’ll certainly look to use it of free on our next trip if it’s available, which will hopefully be soon. Parking is right outside the property but a little tight for access. Not a problem for us and neighbours were considerate and helpful, but anyone who’s not keen on reversing might get stressed. That said, there’s loads of free parking available nearby on the street and we’d be happy to use this tbh. It’s not a long walk, c20yds or so. I was daft enough to leave something behind and Georgie was very quick to let me know she’ll get it in the post to me. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. We loved it. Thx Chris and Georgie

Perfect place to stay if exploring Newcastle and surroundings. Sandra had thought hard about what her guests might need and it was all available for us.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet part of the countryside. Shared amenities, including games room, gym and pool, are excellent. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for our holiday.

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Very modern and clean van. Great location right on the beach and very accommodating host, leaving tea, coffee biscuits etc. Would recommend to anyone and was really impressed with how nice the caravan was. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful weekend break at Swallowtails. The accommodation was tastefully decorated and extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Set in a beautiful rural surroundings and countryside walks. The local village has a couple of good pubs within easy walking distance and are dog friendly. Lots of great places to visit within a short drive. The hosts were extremely helpful and respond quickly to any queries. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

We could not have wished for a better host/stay in Whitley Bay- Sarah as well as her place was just fantastic and exceeded all expectations. Check in was super easy and Sarah's communication was incredible. Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and having a great stay. The caravan was just as described/ pictured, it was clean and very comfortable. I would certainly recommend and we will definitely be back to stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!!!

Children were bit reluctant to stay at caravan as they thought is a caravan park but when we went there is a pleasant surprise for all of us. Is a single caravan at a closed premises with two toilets one kitchen and 2 bed rooms. Very close to Alnwick castle, garden as well as the beach. A superb day with very good sun shines and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The boiler was not working once but when I informed Claire’s husband immediately attended and sort it out. Other wise the heating was superb.

Adham’s property was perfect for the one night we spent in Durham. Really easy to access the city, easy to find and great communication from Adham. Thank you - we’ll be back

Lovely cosy quiet cottage with good garden space to sit out and for dogs to play . Fabulous location minutes from the beach . Spotlessly clean , comfy bed , good shower , and the tea, coffee , milk etc on arrival a thoughtful touch . Alison was a lovely host , friendly and helpful .

Diane was lovely, so helpful from showing us around to the very detailed instructions on all the facilities. Always on hand if needed and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is comfy and has everything you need. Loved the finishing touches and welcome pack which included dog treats. The beach, coastal trails and country park are a short walk away making it a perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return

Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest.
