Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Newark

Suzi and Luci’s Place was absolutely beautiful. For a home that often takes pets, it was top tier clean. They were more than accommodating on check-in time since we were traveling from east end of Long Island, it was about a 4 1/2 hour drive. Beds were extremely comfortable and clean, they had the AC and some lights on for us when we got there as well which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay very short. Paid for 2 nights but only stayed for 1. Suzi and Luci were very understanding when we messaged late at night that we had to leave due to family emergency. The view of the falls was gorgeous. Be prepared for some noise from the road at night as it backs up straight to it, but the hostesses offer ear plugs which was super nice! The shower is a bit small so beware if you are a larger person. Overall a great stay, great communication, super clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and fully enjoy the home! stay at his place only for one day to attend my daughter's graduation. Check in is easy, the house was clean, spotless and perfect for my group. Everything was labelled accordingly. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely stay at this place again and will recommend to friends.

We loved this stay! The lite house was very nice and renovated, while still maintaining original structure. The porches all around were great and the view from the master bedroom was stunning. Easy walk to small private beach. Town is about a 10 minute drive. We dined at Woodys and the Wellwood and they were both tasty!

Perfect Rental! Lovely Rustic finished-basement in a private home, in an upscale neighborhood on the Mainline. Huge Living Room, large Bar/Kitchenette area, large bedroom with ensuite bathroom; outside there are several different seating areas in the large/bucolic back yard. Retired couple from Florida rented Don's place for a week while helping our daughter, who was moving into an apartment in the area. The rental was exactly as described, and was perfect for our needs; I can't imagine having to spend a week in a cramped hotel room! After long days of packing and moving, we sat outside in the beautiful backyard and enjoyed a beverage.... and a cigar for me! The homeowner, Don, lives in the house..... but he is completely unobtrusive; he greeted us briefly upon our arrival, and all subsequent contact with him was initiated by us. He is a friendly, helpful guy..... and we will definitely stay with him again during our future visits with our daughter.

Dijanas place was perfect, we were in town for a funeral and she was very accommodating. check-in was simple, the neighbors even stopped by and said hello. She even let us know we could check in slightly early if we needed it. The home was well stocked as pictured had a perfectly fenced backyard for our furry friends and close to breakfast places coffee at the hospital if you needed it. would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

This place allowed us to enjoy our stay while we were in town for a wedding. We were able to take our two dogs with us and the fenced in backyard just made things even easier. Everything was very nice, clean, and maybe little details that added to the coziness. If we ever find ourselves back in Wilmington, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Very nice & clean place for being dog-friendly. Walkable and close to restaurants and coffee. A bit loud in the evenings but we slept fine. Great shower & lots of linens. Fit 6 of us easily - big dining table but small living room area for gathering.

I absolutely loved this apartment! It looks just like the photos! You will feel right at home when you enter. Location is great! The host was very helpful and responsive!!! I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Donna’s house! The pool and hot tub were great and we felt so welcomed and comfortable. 10/10

One of the best shower heads I have ever had the pleasure to use. Took a ton of will power to not stay in the shower the whole stay. It appears that Ruthie and her family live in the house when guests are not staying. That did not bother me and my guest, but something to note. Really close to a Casino if that is what you are looking for. Less than a 5 min walk.

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

Very cute cottage with a nice deep pool. We enjoyed the close proximity.

Had issues with a few things missing, that had been either stolen, broken, thrown away by past guests) we reached out and David was super proactive about getting them replaced. If you have any issues, definitely just send a message! This host is very serious about making it right. The pool was nice, the area was beautiful and assuming future guests take care of the stuff, it has everything you need!

We rented Thomas's space for our entire wedding weekend. It was truly the most incredible experience. From top to bottom Thomas helped to make this our dream weekend. The place is like its own little world. It's the most magical surroundings and the houses themselves are truly breathtaking with every amenity you could want... a disco garage?! This will forever go down as one of the best weekends of our lives!

My family & I booked for three nights. Thought it was a beautiful and private little area, and just a couple steps away from the beach and a pool. Very quiet and away from noise which was a plus. The house itself was lovely and mostly clean. There were board games available and my kids had a fun time playing with them. We enjoyed barbecuing using the grill provided on the balcony which was nice as well. A plenty of towels and anything you need in the kitchen! Other than a full trash bag left over in the kitchen, finding some clothing items from other guests (I’m assuming) in drawers, and the keurig having what looked like mold inside. Pretty small things when looking at the big picture though. Will most likely come again & we enjoyed our stay!

Such an adorable street! It was quiet stay and well stocked for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was our favorite! Beautifully laid out and had all we need to prepare meals while there. The beds were comfortable and the two bedrooms offered privacy for both couples. The showers were spacious, with great water pressure and temperature. If you walk half a mile, you will discover a gorgeous creek and walking trail. It was great to walk it after breakfast. It’s a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to restaurants, book stores, etc. The neighbors are friendly too! I would definitely recommend staying here!

The home was so nice! Everything looked better in person than how it looked in the pictures. The space was decorated very nice and the home was clean. The entire house spelled very well. Mr. Harold was also very responsive whenever I sent him a message. There is a lot to do in the area as well as options for food. My family and I will definitely be staying at this home in our future travels.

Staying with Carrie was great. The place was clean and comfortable. She was always very responsive while checking in and getting into the place was super easy.

Had an amazing stay at this home. It was exactly as described. They had everything that you would need from extra trash bags, paper towels, TP, soap, detergent, etc. The home was very clean. Checkout was very easy as they didn’t request much to be done as I’ve had at other stays before. Would highly recommend.

Sandra’s Casita was the perfect spot for our long weekend visiting friends and family, and she was the perfect host. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!

Mike manages the house, & the owners live next door - all lovely people! The views of the farm were spectacular & the home was bigger than expected. There are 3 bedrooms with 1 and a half bathrooms on the top floor. The middle floor has a kitchen, dining area & living room. Downstairs there are 2 big rooms for hanging out & another full bathroom. My son used the couch down there for sleeping so Grandma could have the upstairs bedroom to herself. The beds & linens are super comfortable. Everything is minimalistic - no clutter, basic furnishings and simple decorations. Combine that with the absence of a TV and staying here feels incredibly peaceful. Our family of 6 enjoyed the weekend of the Univ of Delaware graduation (25 min drive) and had a lovely time playing cards, grilling up steaks, and sharing good conversation & laughter together. We discovered the Herr's Chips Factory just 5 minutes away. They give tours Mondays - Wednesdays, so we're already planning to come back & do that!

We stayed here for one month. It was comfortable and clean. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, directly across the street from a park that has a great, paved walking trail.
