I hesitate to tell everyone how stellar this place is! It's magical, perfect in every way. This hidden gem is the perfect getaway. I'd love to keep it to myself and a secret, but it's just too good to not share.

The house was immediately welcoming upon entry with plenty of space for a large family gathering (though we arrived as only three of us). The massive table and kitchen was well laid out. The upstairs was a fun set up with its five or six different beds. We all got to choose the one that fit our personalities the best (and there were plenty of options to choose from). This morning before checking out we saw some baby deer frolicking and chasing each other around outside in the trees while we drank our coffee. If we have the opportunity we will absolutely rent this place again for another family trip. Thank you Amanda for the perfect little experience in the middle of our road trip!

I had the most wonderful stay at Bliss Cabin, to say the least. From the initial photos of the writing desk and yoga deck, to the curious graveled path winding around the property lined with life and decorative details, I was totally immersed in the love and care that was so palpably present! Kathryn & Luke were absolutely lovely, so helpful, and incredibly accommodating! My recommendations while on the property: build and tend to a fire. Journal at the writing desk while playing Miles Davis. Take an early cold plunge in the river, do a round of Wim Hof breathing, then run up to take a hot shower at their beautiful abode. Chat with Luke, have tea with Kathryn. Do yoga on the deck. Say hello to the frogs. Express your inner musician with their drums and sound bowls. Let your soul free here!

This cottage is truly magical, and Jill is an excellent host. Such a deeply peaceful place. Go to hear the bullfrogs singing and for a visit from Clyde the rooster!

Perfect place to stay for our hiking trip. The location was not far from some great food and breweries as well. And near many parks. The snacks in the room were very helpful after a long day hiking. Internet worked great and was able to watch tv. AC cooled perfectly.

We had such a wonderful stay at the cabin! I feel the pictures really don’t do it justice, everything was neat and tidy. My teenagers said they had the best night of sleep in the loft beds and my little kids were comfy of the sofa bed. I loved the privacy of being in the woods and Having separate cabins from the kids was such a plus (but nice that you are still very close). There are so many well thought out touches like the fan outside, speakers, smores kit ,and plenty of yard games. We would love to stay agin!

For peace and quiet in a beautiful location, this is your spot. Great accommodations within an easy drive of Sparta and West Jefferson for small town attractions with genuinely nice people. Recommend bringing fishing rod for the pond and binoculars for wildlife sightings. Use Google maps instead of Waze for the address for ease of initial arrival. We’ll definitely be repeat guests!

Great place to stay for privacy and to have a place all to yourself! We had an issue with the wifi but Samuel was extremely responsive and fixed the issue very quickly. Kitchen was well equipped and the place was clean and cute.

was gorgeous and loved that it was raining our whole stay. made the cabin look and feel so cozy. very relaxing and enjoyed traveling out to all the different sites to see. our host was very welcoming, friendly and responsive.

This place was an absolute dream come true. I have been feeling so stressed out from life and 2 days here with my pup and I feel like a new woman. The location is absolutely breathtaking. We saw deer and turkeys and had a blast fishing at the pond. We caught about 10 fish in 2 days. I will absolutely be back. The hosts made us feel right at home and had all the special touches to make me feel like the most important guest!

I highly recommend The Bunkhouse for anyone staying in this area. We've stayed in at leat 15 airbnbs over the years and this place is on the top of our list as BEST PLACE to stay. Millie is an exceptional hostess!! She has thought of everything..a fully stocked kitchen with everything to cook a meal inside or out on the grill. It's all the little things that make a stay that much more comfortable...such as ice (to not have to remember to get ice for us is a huge plus), very comfortable bed, and although we don't vacation to watch TV, at night we do watch some and having the ability to watch Netflix or Amazon without having to sign into my own account is also a convenience we appreciate! The cabin is decorated with style as well. Finally, I can't say enough on this gem of a place and Millie as we had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to while on property. we didn't have enough time to explore the property and pond, but we will DEFINITELY be back next time we are in the area!

Scott's place was such a nice getaway for us! The cabin was super cute with the upstairs loft and had beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and private and felt very safe. Although we didn't get a chance to use them, the fishing poles and tackle box was a cute addition/activity option. We would definitely recommend Scott's place!

We stayed at the cabin for the weekend and absolutely loved it! Highlights included the walking trails around the property, the peaceful and private setting, great outdoor seating spaces, and the super comfy bed.

Sitting within the peaceful hills right outside of Pilot Mountain, this cabin immediately stole my heart. The home was charming, clean, and very easy to settle into. The hosts were accommodating and friendly, which made the experience that much more pleasant. A Squirrels Paradise really made me feel at home, I never wanted to leave!

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. The location and surrounding land was just pure joy. Such a great get away, hope to do it again soon

I’ve stayed here a few times and each time has been wonderful. The tinyhouse is so charming, I love having morning coffee on the porch. I always thoroughly enjoy wandering the trails on the property, the views are amazing.

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful. They have done a great job making it a little piece of paradise! KT house was clean, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The Pavilion and Redd's Pub was wonderful. Eddie was great and hung out with us for a bit at the pub for great conversation, laughter, and a few drinks! They go above and beyond what most hosts do in the Airbnb's we've stayed at. We highly recommend staying at KT house and hope we make it back there again sometime! Thanks so much for the great stay!

The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. Only there one night but would gladly stay longer. She had so many extra touches that made you feel very welcome.

Lisa's cabin was perfect for a family getaway! The cabin was super clean and was better than the pictures. The cabin was private and most bedrooms had a good amount of privacy. The attention to detail was beautiful and the location was perfect. Lisa was very responsive and accommodating to our group. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to families, groups of friends, or even for a romantic getaway.

We absolutely loved Jennifer's property! We were looking for a place to get a away for a few days and enjoy some family time away from the hustle and bustle and boy was this perfect! So many games and activities to keep the whole family busy. Favorite part was just enjoying the outside and watching the wildlife. We saw gophers, deer, a rabbit and so much more! Would absolutely love coming back in the future! Also, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very responsive and great to work with regarding everything on the property experience.
