This place was amazing. Really enjoyed our time here. The house is very nice and location is awesome. Would definitely come back again!

Place was as described. Check in was easy. Sherry gave some great recommendations for food in the area. This was for a guys golf and river rafting trip and was a good place for us.

Erin's home was perfect for our trip to New River Gorge National Park. The location, within walking distance to downtown Fayetteville was perfect. There were stores and restaurants nearby and the entrance to the National Park was a short 5 minute drive. The home was exactly as described and shown in photos, with all the amenities we needed. We particularly appreciated the amount of space, pool and hot tub as well as the fully fenced in backyard because we were travelling with our dog. As a host Erin was incredibly responsive, provided helpful information about the house and area. We could not recommend her house enough, it was fantastic for our needs and trip and hope to stay again in the future.

This is the perfect spot for a bachelor party weekend. We came out to do some white water rafting, so the location was perfect. The pool, hot tub, outdoor grill setup is top notch. Our only criticism is that the kitchen is a bit of a wreck with a ton of water leaking out of the fridge and a heck of a lot of mold growing under the sink. That doesn't bother 9 guys on a rafting trip, though. Absolutely would come back!

Absolutely amazing Airbnb, wish we could give it more than 5 stars! Not only is it an incredible stay in an actual airplane hanger, but Ashley and her husband have included every amenity you can think. From the indoor fireplace, tvs, and stellar decorations, to the outdoor pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit, you’ll never be short of things to do. We loved watching planes come and go on the private airstrip, we can’t wait to come back and book a flight on the biplane! Highly, highly, highly recommend checking this place out for yourselves !

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

We all had a great time. We loved the pool and it was great to have after hiking and on the afternoon it rained. The house was a great size for all nine of us! We loved it!

Sarah was very responsive and helpful. The property is beautiful to walk around and the house is nice and clean.

My husband and I had a quick one night stay here with our two kids. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the house looked like the pictures. Our pack and play fit well in one of the rooms with us. Being an older house, I expected it to be a bit creaky. I was happy with how little noise the floors made, but the doors were a little noisy to open and shut. The kitchen was clean and there were some basics like water bottles and snack bars. The host didn’t skimp on things like cheap pillows or sheets, they felt comfortable and new. We would definitely stay here again if passing through!

Excellent as long term rental for the area. Feels right at home.

The Cedar Waxwing cabin was pristine, amazingly well stocked with everything you’d need to enjoy your stay and on a beautiful, private patch of land. To top it all off, the hosts are super friendly and responsive. We locked ourselves out in the middle of the night and they got us back in quickly and with no problems! If you are browsing to find a cabin in the area, look no further. This is the place to stay!

Robert’s Holler Ridge Airbnb was a fantastic stay! The place was clean and cozy, and we were greeted by the sweetest orange cat named Halo—an instant bonus! The bed was super comfy, the water was nice and hot, and we loved having a convenient countertop ice maker. Robert went above and beyond with the snacks—seriously, snacks on snacks! Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. Heads up for future guests: Apple Maps took us on a little adventure, but Google Maps got us there just fine. Make sure you use the address Robert provides directly—not the one from the “Getting There” tab. “For whatever reason, Apple Maps translated it weird.” All in all, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

Perfect. Looks exactly as advertised, peaceful, comfortable and quiet. This house is a very well-maintained country farm house with all the comforts needed for a restful stay. We really felt like we were visiting our grandparents, and loved it! Just far enough off the beaten path (and a lovely drive) to ensure a quiet stay but not too far as to be inconvenient from the interstate. Highly recommended; we'd definitely stay again!

The place is nice and clean. Host is very easy to work with. Location is great for exploring the New River Gorge and surrounding area. We were able to have few fires with some wood that was provided. House had everything we needed. As others have pointed out, the only minor thing is that it is a lot closer to the road than it appears in the photos and can be pretty noisy if you are sensitive to that, specifically in the main bedroom. They had a fan we turned on and had no trouble sleeping either of the two nights we stayed, so ended up not being an issue for us at all. Would definitely consider staying again if we came back to the area.

Ankoni's place is so convenient, minutes to town and bridge, very easy to get to. Beds are comfortable, place is clean, neighborhood fine. Highway noise can be heard, but didnt bother us. Weather wise we needed the heat one evening and the AC units the next, and both kept us very comfortable.Big corner lot for the pup to run around. Internet fast, we didn't need the workstations, but they looked great!

Definitely caming back I love the place so peaceful

We loved our stay in the McGrath house! We were in town for a wedding at the Gaines Estate and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The home was exceptionally clean and full of thoughtful amenities. The neighborhood is super walkable - easy to get to restaurants and shops, even the public library! It is also walkable to the Gaines Estate itself, although we drove due to shoe choices and weather, it was nice to know we could walk back if we ended up celebrating too much to drive. It was also very convenient to be right across the street from Pies and Pints! We also stayed in Bill and Sally's other house in town, the Wiseman house, which connects to this house via the backyard and was a great way for our large family to stay together with plenty of space and privacy for all.

We traveled to the area to explore New River Gorge. Easy access to the park. Traveled with my elderly parents and the accessibility features were perfect. Easy to get them in and out with their walkers. Relaxing space and quiet street. It was perfect for us! My Dad mentioned they were the most responsive hosts we have ever had at an airbnb.

We are thrilled we stumbled across this little house when we decided last minute to spend the weekend prior to our daughter’s nearby bike race. Rachel & Nate were so helpful with quick communication, flexibility on check-in, clear instructions, and loads of helpful tips for our stay. We tried several of the restaurants they recommended, and they were all phenomenal. We especially loved the Cathedral Cafe! The house itself is an absolute joy! The detail put into the wizard theme is awe worthy. We loved the SWEET little kitchen complete with candy bar, the cozy ambiance of the twinkle lights, and the very quiet and peaceful yard. We are already plotting another visit to the area, hoping to check out their Game House next door! Thank you for a great stay!

Loved this home! So comfy and cute, with touches of family history that we loved. Perfect area to explore Fayetteville too, with the best restaurants in walking distance. Megan was very helpful and communicative. Would recommend to anyone!

The place was quaint and just like the photos. A private spot we enjoyed staying at. Would recommend as a great place to stay if in the area.

I am very particular about where I stay. We would definitely stay here again. This is a very old home with a lot of character. It was truly like staying at a friends house. Very cozy. There are 3 bedrooms and a comfy couch. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The linens and towels are not brand new, which was a bonus because they were super soft and comfy. They were all clean and fresh and smelled wonderful. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Wii U. Karen was more than helpful and was super attentive and happy to help us with anything we needed. I was concerned that with it being a pet friendly rental that it would smell like dogs but it definitely did not. The trains do come by often. If you wear ear plugs they won't bother you at all. Honestly we enjoyed them. They are close enough to see and hear but not so loud that they hurt your ears. Our kids and family definitely recommend this rental.

Wonderful place to stay minutes from New River Gorge activities and Fayetteville. Four of us went for a ladies weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday and explore the area. Colleen's place was perfect and allowed us to easily explore, relax, and enjoy being together. Highly recommend! Colleen provided extremely helpful information on the area and things to do and was communicative and kind throughout.
