Kid-friendly holiday rentals in New Bedford

The Mermaid Cottage is located on a quiet property away from high traffic roads. It’s about 5 minutes from the main part of Westport, and less than 15 minutes to Horseneck Beach. What I enjoy about the cottage is it is peaceful, and has everything we need for an enjoyable visit. Thank you Steve!!!!

This was a Perfect Beach Escape – Ideal Location The location is fantastic – just a short stroll to the beach and a quick walk to town, where you’ll find everything from cozy cafes to trendy shops and local restaurants. You can go from a lazy beach day to a shopping store. The house itself is a great. It’s beautifully decorated with a coastal vibe, filled with natural light, and impeccably clean. The layout is perfect for relaxing, with plenty of space in the living area and a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for when you want to cook up a meal. The outdoor spaces are amazing too – a spacious deck with comfortable seating, a grill, and the sound of ocean waves in the background. One of the highlights is the attention to detail. My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely! The house was clean, everything was easy to find, and we were comfortable there. The neighborhood is quiet with a beach and walking trails close by. Seeing the wild turkeys made the whole trip special. Donna was very helpful and responded to my questions quickly and nicely. Her note and gift of Portuguese bread was heartwarming and unique! I'd recommend this Airbnb to friends and family and if we're back in that area again we'll be staying at Donna's house!!

Absolutely LOVE staying at Anna’s home that she graciously shares! Her home is like coming to your favorite aunts house while she is out of town and you just get to chill out and enjoy the area!! Quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to what I’ll call the “mall area” that has everything usually around a mall. Definitely check out The Head Landing Country Store for their coffee and DELICIOUS home baked goodies!!!

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Super clean and modern. It basically looked like a Pinterest board in real life. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom downstairs were great for my older parents who aren’t fans of stairs. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a perfect stay — travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging but Debora provided everything we needed to make the stay comfortable (cot, high chair, bath, even cutlery!) and it really felt like a home away from home. The airbnb was spotless, it’s a good location in Fall River walking distance from a playground, parking was super easy, and we loved our stay.

The apartment is very comfortable. The pictures are accurate. Beds comfortable. Plenty of very nice bath linens. I loved the types and amount of lighting in every room. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. The kitchen is very functional . I loved cooking on the beautiful big stove. We really appreciated having both a Keurig and a coffee maker. The one thing I would caution about is the stairs. They are as pictured. We had no problem with them, but people with knee issues might. I will certainly look for this property again when in the area.

Highly, highly recommend! A gem of a find! Pictures are exact and the place was spotless. Great walkable neighborhood and lots to do. I will definitely book again if I am back in town. Communication was excellent!

We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court! The location was the perfect spot to be near the main attractions around Thames Street and convenient to walk elsewhere. We loved having a private parking spot for our car as well. Bonus perk for being able to bring our dog with us! The hosts checked on us every evening if we needed anything—provided recommendations, and were super friendly and welcoming! Only downside to being so close to downtown is the loud noise from a nearby bar late at night on weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Newport/Pelham Court and hope to come visit again in future! Thanks for having us! :)

Our stay at Trip and Christina’s place was excellent. It is perfectly decorated and we loved the peacefulness of deck for early morning coffee as well as enjoying our meals alfresco. Perfect location close to bus station for tours of Newport and transportation to the mansions. We unexpectedly arrived super and Christina was a gracious host and invited us in while she completed preparing the place for our stay. Very responsive and accommodating hosts.

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Great place to stay. Close to the beach and also easy to drive from to hit major spots along the Cape Cod bay. Sam provided some good local recommendations and we loved our stay!
