Small and nice!

The property is located in the "Gästehaus Mörtl", a house from the 60s. It is located in the village of Faak am See. Walking distance to the lake, turquoise blue, with stunning mountain panorama. It is one of the southernmost and warmest bathing lakes in Austria. The property has direct access to the garden with mountain views. Train station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket and inn are in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area invites you to do countless activities, such as hiking, cycling or swimming.

Enjoy this cozy apartment with large balcony and partial view of Lake Faak. Very centrally located and only a few minutes walk from the public beach (free of charge). The nicely furnished apartment can accommodate two to three people. Open-plan kitchen and living area with pleasant atmosphere, spacious bathroom and bedroom. Bikes can be parked in the private, lockable basement compartment. A grocery store is opposite.

What to expect: A cozy, lovingly furnished and idyllically located 50 square meter apartment on the second floor of our house. Ideal for two people. You will stay in an adjacent nature reserve with a fitness course, through which you can walk to the beautiful Lake Faak in 15 minutes, which you can enjoy free of charge with our bathing cards and in winter you are only 15 minutes by car from the Gerlitzen Kanzelbahn.

Superior apartment with lake access

We had a wonderful stay at Gebhard's & Eva's apartment. The apartment is even better than in the photos and the bathhouse with the private lake access is a great bonus! We traveled with a toddler, and were kindly provided with a baby cot and high chair. We would come back any time!

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

Patricia was very helpful and kind! There were 5 of us and we had a great time, the house is 70s style but has everything you need, the outside is a large garden with a ping pong table, swing and lounger, there is also a porch where you can eat outside! Everything was clean and tidy, the only thing was the bathroom was a little uncomfortable as the bathtub was very small and therefore uncomfortable but otherwise everything was perfect! There was also a dishwasher and a washing machine! Really everything you needed to feel at home
