We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

My friend and I stayed at the accommodation for 5 days and were very satisfied with our stay. The apartment is on the ground floor of a beautiful modern house. The apartment was very well equipped, there was nothing missing. The beautiful terrace with a whirlpool is worth highlighting. The location is great. It is about 15 minutes by car to the centre of Chania. Several beaches are within walking distance. The house itself is in a quiet location. It offers a good starting point for exploring Crete. Katerina and her husband are great hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fresh Greek salad, oranges and wine. A few days later, we received fresh vegetables from the garden. Katerina was always available and very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Overall, we would recommend the accommodation! 5/5 stars!

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was super clean and everything well maintained. Just felt right at home with an amazing view, great beds and a beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

Great value for money ratio, the apartment is close to everything in Chania, so it was very easy for us to get around. The place is well equipped and the breakfast treats was a sweet gesture from Maria and Georgios. The apartment itself is very small, but the big patio outside makes up for it.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Fantastic villa, beautiful rooms & pool area and wonderful and attentive hosts! We had a great time start to finish, and the villa was in a fantastic spot, and couldn’t recommend more! We had a slight issue with the internet being slow so that would be the only thing to bear in mind when booking if you work remote/ need wifi often, the only place we could get connection was the cellar, so I think a couple wifi repeaters would go a long way!

Our stay with Eleftheria and Michalis in Chania was nothing short of exceptional. The house is amazing—spacious, immaculate, and clearly designed with incredible care and attention to detail. The location is superb, and it’s easily one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The hosts went above and beyond—warm, welcoming, and always available. They helped us with everything from our early arrival to washing our car, making us feel completely at home. I truly hope to return one day with the rest of our family, and I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete without hesitation.

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. The apartment is really beautiful and well-equipped, also for cooking. The balcony offers beautiful views, especially for sunsets. Parking is simple, the pool is very nice. The only flaw is the shower, it is missing a wall or curtain so as not to wet everything around it. The staff is very responsive in case of any problem. I would highly recommend!

We spent 14 wonderful days in Marilena's residence. From the first moment we felt very welcome. Marilena is not only extremely hospitable and friendly, but also very sweet and nice to children. The place was sparkling clean and well cared for. The private swimming pool was an absolute highlight: every morning it was carefully cleaned by Marilena herself. What we also really appreciated was that they came to clean the house in the interim – in consultation, of course. Really top service! You can tell from everything that Marilena does this with love and has an eye for her guests. In short: a fantastic place to stay with a hostess who really makes a difference. We will definitely come back here!

The accommodation is like the photos clean and thoughtful, the distance needs a vehicle to the port although on foot it is about 3 minutes. The only issue we had is that the street that goes on the maps through the Airbnb app is not that of the home because there are two streets with the same name nearby. Otherwise a very beautiful and clean apartment near the center of Chania.

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

The accommodation was very comfortable and Spyridon was very present and active, ready to respond to any need. We had a slight setback with the bathroom sink drain, despite being only one night he was immediately understanding and ready to have a plumber intervene to solve the problem. A very helpful host, and this fact alone makes the stay worthwhile.

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. You’ll have a nice stay here. Lilit’s mum checked us in and the place was spotless. Downstairs has a kitchen/living area, a bathroom with a bath/shower, and three bedrooms. Each bedroom has air-con and two bedrooms have balconies. The kitchen/living area has air-con and the bathroom has a clothes washing machine. Upstairs has a kitchen/living area and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen/living area has air-con. The upstairs tv is a dumb tv and the downstairs tv is a smart tv. Toilet roll can’t be flushed in either bathroom, as is standard in Crete. Both kitchens have a sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher, pots, pans, crockery. The host left us water, fruit and wine. The parking area has gates, which are controlled by a fob. You have to drive up a hill to get to the property. Bins are at the bottom of the hill. Taverna Irene is walking distance and has nice food and wine and cats! I’d recommend hiring an automatic car because Crete is hilly.

Great location, very close to a beach. Off street parking right in front which was huge since we rented a vehicle. Beautiful flowers in garden. Litsa welcomed us with wine and fruit. She was very friendly and responded very quickly. She gave us lots of tips of where to go. Place is as described.
