I have endeavored to create a comfortable space that provides a wonderful base for adventuring. The walls are covered in local art, I love showcasing local artisans. Paintings are reminiscent of Nelson and are for sale. The beautiful king sized bed and live edge wood counters are taken from sustainably harvested trees and created by a local craftsman. The upstairs is spacious and features a wood burning stove. The downstairs is a beautiful grotto bathroom with a sunken tub big enough for two.

The Art Studio downtown
Our Grandpa Max built this eclectic space onto the back of his heritage home in the 1970s as an art studio and woodworking shop. Now we host travelers in this mid-century meets modern Scandi suite. The downtown core is only one block away but the studio is located on a quiet residential street backing on to green-space. Grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, park with a lookout and the theatre are all within blocks. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and ski bums!

By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Uphill Sanctuary is a bright & cozy 300 sq. ft. basement guest suite in Nelson, BC. The Rail Trail trailhead is across the road, making it perfect for strolls, mountain biking, or dog walks. Downtown is a 15–20 minute walk away (though the return trip is a steep climb!)
