Holiday rentals with lake access in Near North Side, Chicago

Extremely clean, large house. Kitchen is well stocked. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything. Appreciated that nothing needed to be done at check-out other than locking up.

Caryl was extremely helpful with a check in process and she introduced us the property as well as surrounding local attractions. We felt the place was warm and very spacious for our group and we had a pleasant stay.

We can't say enough great things about our stay. Sharon was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. Her beautiful house was exactly as described. The neighborhood was perfectly suited for walking to restaurants, local bars, grocery stores, light rail and much more. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!!

Kirsten was extremely accommodating, flexible and responsive for our trip. We were in town for my son's graduation from Northwestern, so the location was ideal. Particularly having a dedicated parking spot during a very hectic time in Evanston was very helpful. Additionally, while the carriage house is very close to campus, it is quiet and removed enough to feel private and peaceful. The house itself is just what we needed. It is well appointed and equipped with everything we needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend working with Kirsten and staying at the carriage house if you're able.

This was a fantastic find! My whole party loved the place. It was clean and wonderfully located in a peaceful neighborhood close enough to transport to walk but far enough from the noise and bustle of downtown. Shawn was very responsive to any questions I had and was super kind and friendly! I absolutely would stay here again!!

Lovely space and a perfect location for exploring the city. Great restaurants within a short walk. Lincoln Park also just a short walk.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Steven’s place. It was exactly what we were looking for. The spa tub was amazing. Walking distance to the beach and the local shops! Steven gave several recommendations for places to check out. We went to dinner at a local bar and walked 119th street to check out the small businesses! It is the perfect in between spot to stay for Chicago and The Dunes! The place was just like the pictures, with comfortable beds, nice couches and surround sound! Definitely one of our best stays! We hope to visit again before the end of summer!

Lin’s Place is gorgeous. If you love being surrounded by beautiful vintage, well cared for wood floors, trim and built ins, this I your place. Convenient to Wrigley Field and Lincoln Park, this place is the one. I loved the back deck and garden on a great tree lined street. Thank you Lin and we look forward to our next trip to Chicago.

Thank you for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Place felt like home. Quiet and quiet neighborhood had all the necessities. Easy access to local stores nearby, convenient location less than 10 minutes from downtown and host was a great person very responsive. I would highly recommend.

I had a great stay. The apartment was so comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect-- steps from public transportation and tons of restaurants. The hosts were very nice and quick to respond to my questions. Would totally recommend!

Our “moms and daughters” Amtrak trip to Chicago was exceptional all because of Jessica and her hosting ability. We had everything we could have asked for. Bus stops are close (we did not rent a car). Restaurants, deli, and the beach are within walking distance. Trader Joe’s and Target are a short bus ride away. The neighborhood is very safe and family friendly.

We had a most wonderful stay at Kayode's apartment which was very clean and matched all the descriptions in the listing and it was perfectly located for our purpose which was to be close to Hyde Park. Kayode was the perfect host and was extremely responsive and even when had a minor issue, he responded within minutes and had the issue resolved within the hour. Highly recommend Kayode as a host if you need an apartment in the Hyde Park area

Nice location and comfortable for 4 people. Little difficult to get in from the parking space. Keypad only worked part of the time. Great to have an included parking space! Overall a nice short stay.

We had a pleasant stay! The space is small but thoughtfully arranged and very cozy, perfect for a short trip. Everything was clean and with a fresh, welcoming feel. The location is excellent: close to downtown, Chinatown, Navy Pier, and most of the key attractions you’d want to see on a first visit to Chicago. What stood out most was the host’s attentiveness—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even smoother. Just a heads-up: the building has fairly thin walls, so some noise from neighboring units can be noticeable. Free street parking was surprisingly easy to find, which was a huge plus. Overall, a great spot with a responsive host and very convenient location.

This was the perfect place to stay while we were visiting for my daughter‘s graduation from Northwestern. Andersonville has tons of restaurants and shops that are within very easy walking distance anytime we needed anything The house were incredibly responsive. Make sure you brush up on your parallel parking skills before visiting as you will need them on a daily basis. That being said even if the street parking was full, we were able to park our car close by on the main road.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was very peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and nature views from the large windows. Watching the deer each day was a highlight of our visit. The home was well decorated and nicely updated. It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Patrick was an excellent host who communicated well throughout the entire process.

We had a fantastic stay! Super close to the Lake, which is just what we wanted. House looked exactly as pictured. Most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Overall, a great experience.

We loved getting to stay here. The proximity to the beach is a simple walk and it is lovely to be so close. My daughter loved the nearby park as well and it was also within waking distance of the cottage. There were many thoughtful details in the space and it was so nice to arrive to the muffins and treats from our host. We will stay again if we ever get the chance.

This 3 story home with a large room overlooking a lagoon provided our family with an enjoyable Christmas holiday. There were 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, 1 off the kitchen and 1 upstairs. There was also a bed in the front room and a stone fireplace in the front room.

This place is a great getaway. If your looking for a place in Miller Beach area and want to see copious amounts of varying wildlife just hanging around then this spot is just what your looking for. The host Blake is very responsive and respectful. I stayed for over a week with my dog and he didn’t want to leave. You won’t either.
