Further (42k) is Lavrio and its port to other islands (tzia, kythnos etc) and the temple of Poseidon at cape Sounio (24 km). Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, 400 meters from the beach (5min walking) where you can find a wide variety of local restaurants, cafés, the picturesque port of Nea Makri and the coastal sidewalk leading to the complex of the Egyptian Gods sanctuary, beach bars. Nea Makri Square is just 200 meters in which is the shopping area.

Auf der Insel Euböa befindet sich das malerische Dorf Styra. Am oberen Dorfrand liegt unser Ferienhaus von wo man einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer hat. Das Haus mit seinen 100 m² und ca. 130 Jahre alten Mauern haben wir 2021 von Grund auf renoviert. Auf der kleinen, schattigen Terrasse lässt sich der Tag mit einem schönen Frühstück beginnen. Von der Dachterrasse hat man dann den Blick auf Dorf, Meer und dem Berg im Rücken – Ideal für den Sundowner.
