Holiday rentals with a kayak in Nashville

This home is wonderful! It was very clean, spacious, the kitchen had everything needed, plus a waffle iron, blender... we LOVED the ping pong table and arcade game!! Since we stayed in winter, we couldn't use the kayaks... but that would have been fun, too :) The basement family room area was toasty warm. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. A great stay close to Nashville!!

My group’s stay at this property was nothing less than perfect. From the gorgeous green rolling hills to the breathtaking lakeside view, the location’s beauty made for a fantastic getaway filled with nonstop outdoor activities, including swimming in the lake, tanning by the pool, playing pickle ball on the convenient courts, and strolling around the yards. The house itself was also phenomenal - clean, spacious, homey, newly renovated, finely furnished, and expertly decorated are a few descriptors of the interior. We took a girls’ trip but commented that it would be a great place for families with children as well. Its privacy in Ashland City but close proximity to Nashville allowed for the best of both worlds - relaxation with a touch of city fun. Chris was an attentive, friendly host, and I would gladly rent his property again/recommend to friends!

We were 5 adults and 6 kids and the place worked wonderfully -- tons of indoor and outdoor activities, really pretty area, and a comfortable house for that number of people. It was great.

This place was absolutely beautiful and was a great place for a girls weekend get away. Elle, was always so responsive and was able to answer any questions I had. 10/10 do recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful place to get away with your family or a girls weekend. 😊

Exactly as advertised!

Loved our stay here. We were planning a weekend in the sun, but it ended up raining the whole time, only meaning we got to enjoy so much of the house and property. The hot tub being covered is clutch, lots of space for a big group, and really convenient amenities! The kitchen was great for cooking meals and the covered porch has so much seating. All the trees and birds and privacy was truly so peaceful especially in the rain. It was better than we even planned for!

We loved this place. Great location that was private yet close to grocery store and restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. They were quick to respond to any questions.

This was our first experience staying at an Airbnb and we have nothing but great things to say. The house was clean and inviting, and the amenities were more than adequate. We slept really well on the bed and there was plenty of space to hang our clothes in the walk in closet. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items, plates, glasses, even wine glasses. The information center on the counter had informative guides. We can't say enough about the view from the upstairs living room and from both patios. We wanted to stay longer! We love Tennessee and hope to be back to the Cozy Cottage soon! Joe and Cindy Taylor

The property looked like the pictures. It was supplied with many more amenities than other Airbnb properties. Almost anything we could want was already supplied. They even had a pet station with supplies. We had a little hitch getting into the property, but were contacted immediately and it was promptly fixed. The property was beautiful, with lots of wildlife. The downstairs hvac system was very inconsistent, but we were able to make it work. The check-out instructions were very reasonable compared to other properties. Don & Dora supplied a very in-depth guidebook for the area. If we weren’t visiting locals already, it would have been very useful. Over-all, it was a very enjoyable trip in a very comfortable house.

I was surprised when originally it said check in time was 5:00 PM couple days prior to checking in. I did reach out and he responded right away that nobody was there day before and we could check in anytime after 1:30 which was a huge relief. I had not seen a check in time when I booked. Everything about the place was as described and perfect. Note: there are no lights on the dock for night fishing. Matt at no time said there were and when I asked him if there was a place to turn on lights he actually said we could run into town purchase something and he would reimburse us. I thought that was going above and beyond. Fishing was great. It was a very nice place. I did pay more than I usually do after fees and taxes more than I usually do per night. After our stay I would be tempted to pay the money to stay there in the future. Matt is a great host.

A very special unique place! So nice to get out of the city to a beautiful country home. I would come back in a heartbeat. The screened porch was our favorite hangout. We made happy memories! Thank you Mimi for sharing this place with us.

We couldn't have been more impressed with the house and the hospitality. The house was super clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were very comfortable, the view of the Cumberland River while sitting in the hot tub was so relaxing. Seeing the Eagle above the hot tub everyday was a really cool part of our stay. Very spacious back patio. We loved the fire pit and really appreciated Monica having fresh firewood brought in for our stay. The bathrooms were very accommodating. Washer and dryer were a real plus. Awesome amenities in the cabin and two wood burning fireplaces in the house were a huge plus. Monica was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and pleasant as possible. We will definitely be coming back to this beautiful gem on the Cumberland.
