What a cute place right in town. Crookwell is a great country town, and Barbara's place was very reasonably priced and right in town. loved it there :)

An unforgettable stay at 'Gwenallen'! Jenny’s home in Grabben Gullen has been our favourite so far. We arrived on a chilly winter day to find the cabin cosy and warm, with a lovely welcome note and a delicious spread of homemade tarts and banana muffins (yumm). The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with fresh milk, yoghurt, bread, and drinks — it felt like arriving at a friend’s place only better. The cabin is beautifully styled, with large windows framing peaceful countryside views. Everything was perfect — soft towels, a super comfy bed, and a serene atmosphere. We spent our days exploring nearby towns and found a great coffee spot, Ensemble & Co. Evenings were spent dining out locally. We had the pleasure of meeting Jenny as we left, her warmth and passion for hosting were truly inspiring. Gwenallen felt like home, and we hope to return very very soon! Thank you again, Jenny. Had the most awesome stay, i couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Goulburn, the surroundings where beautiful, the cottage was warm and cosy and had everything I needed and it was only 6 minute drive to Goulburn TAFE which I had to attended for a workshop, i will be back next workshop, thank you Andrew for the yummy breakfast supplies and supplying all that wood, highly recommended. 😍

We enjoyed a quiet and restful long weekend at Hillview Cottage. Although the weather wasn't always cooperative, the Cottage was sufficiently equipped to keep us warm and it was exciting to see some snow! Charming towns such as Crookwell and Taralga are also an enjoyable, scenic drive away. The breakfast provisions were thoughtfully compiled, generous and much appreciated. Remember to bring marshmallows for the fire pit :)
