Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nara

Good location, friendly locals and a cozy room. It was a little dirty when I got there so I gave the kitchen a good clean. Also I had to buy some of my own utensils but over all it was a great place to stay, and I would definitely come back.

会社のオフサイトMTGで使わせて頂きました。 非常にプライベートな空間で、 チーム6人で部屋の中でしっかり話し合いのMTGができ、 また外ではBBQで和気あいあいとすごす事ができました。 待ち合わせの場所まで迎えに来て頂き、 親切に宿泊施設まで先導・案内を頂き、使用の仕方を丁寧に教えて頂きました。 本当に非常によい時間を過ごせたと思います。ありがとうございました！！！

Un très bel environnement pour les gens comme moi, avait besoin d’un moment de calme dans son voyage. Hôte très gentille et serviable. Nara ainsi que son parc est à côté et vous avez un train direct pour Kyoto ☺️

A very nice place, authentic place to stay, where not only are all the things you need available, but most importantly they have a quirky, personal style - making you feel at home, but in the middle of Japan's greenery! Relaxed hosts, delicious food, beautiful ceramics, nice smelling cedar wood, what more could you want?

This was a beautiful place to stay whilst exploring Osaka. The house is a peaceful refuge after a busy day's exploring. We absolutely loved our time spent here. We also enjoyed the many beautiful Japanese arts and crafts displayed around the property. Our host was friendly, welcoming and responsive to all our communications. Thank you for this very positive experience.

こども3名（未就学児含む）・大人2名（姉妹）で2泊、女子会のように楽しい宿泊ができた。黒ひげ危機一髪やブロックなどちょこっと遊べるおもちゃがあり、2階への階段が2か所ありぐるぐる回れるお家の作りやインテリアも素敵。また、親切なご対応ではじめての利用だったが安心していくことができた。 立地もよく、駅からは商店街を通るルートがあったり温泉や公園があったりと小さな子連れにも最高。温泉は遅くまで開いていて帰宅が遅くなった2日目だったのでとても助かりました。1日目はシャワーを利用したがこちらも快適。朝晩が冷え込む時期だったが大きな暖房もあり快適に過ごせました。さらに、周辺に飲食店もいろいろあったので、ゆったりまた利用したい。

Tivemos orientações detalhadas sobre a estadia e localização, não tivemos dificuldade para chegar ao local e muito bem sinalizado. A casa corresponde ao anúncio e os hosts foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos. Nos receberam e orientaram sobre a casa e fizeram questão de se despedir de nós. Agradecemos a hospedagem e esperamos retornar novamente.

Spacious home, karaoke is great, large kitchen, great for families.

Quartier très calme, mais rues très étroites pour y accéder. Miyazaki est très sympa; il nous a donné un plan pour nous repérer. La maison est grande

A charming and spacious apartment, traditionally styled, located in a peaceful neighborhood.

I stayed in Shin's apartment for 2 months and I could not have been better. Shin was extremely helpful, always very fast replying all my messages. Since we needed to work from the apartment I asked him to provide a couple of tables and chairs that were not initially included in the apartment. He offered those for free, for which I am really grateful. I also contacted him once because the internet was too slow and he immediately shared some other wifi networks I could use. Finally, I had a couple of friends and relatives visiting us and his wonderful cleaning lady, Kiyomi-san, brought us extra futons for them. She was the one who also gave us very clear instructions about how the garbage recycling or the washing machine / drying machine from downstairs. Finally I want to call out that the neighborhood is very quiet, and the apartment is bright and beautiful, just like the pictures!

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

Great place to stay, very cosy, we greatly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and more, it was perfectly clean and had good internet. Checkin was easy and Shin was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Osaka

J'ai passé 3 semaines exceptionnelles chez Makoto ! Le logement est impeccable et à moins de 10min à pied de la gare qui relie Osaka et Nara, très pratique pour bouger un peu dans les environs. Le quartier est très calme et on peut apercevoir les montagnes au loin. Makoto propose souvent des activités ce qui permet de faire de belles rencontres et de découvrir une autre facette très conviviale du Japon. Je recommande à 100% et je reviendrai sans hésiter, merci encore pour cet accueil chaleureux !

we stayed here for 5 days and we certainly enjoyed our time. At first the walking distance seemed long but we quickly learned to live it as the neighborhood was nice and we found many restaurants and stores in the area. The unit was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our host was very helpful and provided a great experience.

Google maps gets you there, but it’s in the back of shops, which was confusing. Storekeepers showed us the way. A very comfortable and peaceful location, so we got great sleep. Yet, you just walk out and you’re in the middle of town, near the deer. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a nice stay at Shin’s place. It was clean, had everything I needed and always had a good night’s rest after my daily sightseeing. On the way from either stations, there are restaurants, konbini, supermarkets, and lots of vending machines :) so it’s also convenient. Shin also gave detailed instructions and responded when I had questions. He was a friendly communicator! I highly recommend this place to people visiting Osaka!
