You can rent an entire guest house in a full-fledged Japanese house from the Taisho era, built about 100 years ago. You can relax and enjoy your stay in Nara. It is located right next to Nara Park, about a 10-minute walk to Kintetsu Nara Station. It is also easy to take a stroll in the quiet early morning or evening. Same price for up to 4 people.Up to 9 people can stay. The latticed windows, tea room, veranda, courtyard, and Japanese house built in the Taisho era are full of charm. Please relax in the living room with a sunken brazier facing the courtyard. The kitchen is equipped with an IH stove, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, pot, cooking utensils, etc. Cook with everyone, and enjoy looking at the garden while sitting at the low table with a pot in the middle! There are two toilets and two shower rooms. There are no facilities like a hotel, but we would appreciate it if you could have a nostalgic atmosphere and a relaxing time. There are only bedrooms, but there are 3 rooms in total (4 rooms if you divide the large Japanese-style room). We will prepare it according to the number of people. NISHIMURATEI Hanare ― A 110-year-old traditional kominka house for rent, with kitchen and dining area

Hi there,Welcome to the Nishimura residence.I’m Yuta Sugimoto, the host. Nishimura Residence is a traditional Nara machiya (townhouse) that is over 110 years old.In 2019, I renovated ‘Grandma’s place’, where I spent a lot of time as a child, and opened it as an accommodation.As the Nara machiya has been preserved in its original state, it can be quite inconvenient at times, and it is not a luxurious hotel where everything is provided. 　Instead, I believe there is no better place than Naramachi to soak up the ‘comfortable rustic’ atmosphere that permeates the town.We provide books in the room and a vegetarian breakfast in the hope that this environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the station, will help guests ‘reflect and recover’.(You can purchase almost all of the books in the room.) 　Please spend tonight in the tranquillity of the Nishimura residence and Nara-cho, listening to the voice of your own heart.

It is a 6-minute walk from Todaiji Temple, making it easily accessible. There are 4 bedrooms, recommended for large groups, families, and friends. There are many famous temples in Nara just a short walk away, We recommend it for a leisurely tour of the temples. You'll definitely be able to relax and unwind, just like at home. Toys that even small children can enjoy are also available in the room. During cherry blossom season, there are very beautiful cherry blossoms along the Saba River that flows nearby, so you can take a walk and see the blossoms.

Traditional district Guesthouse

The house is in a quiet, traditional area of Nara with smooth access to the station and main sightseeing spots. You’ll have 2 guest rooms upstairs with a toilet and washbasin. The shower room is on the first floor. Each room has a lock for your privacy. There are 3 futon beds and 1 double bed. Meals are available if reserved 2 days in advance: sukiyaki dinner (6,500 JPY/person) breakfast (1500JPY/person) I also run a cozy café nearby, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
