Nishimura Residence is a traditional Nara machiya (townhouse) that is over 110 years old.In 2019, I renovated ‘Grandma’s place’, where I spent a lot of time as a child, and opened it as an accommodation.As the Nara machiya has been preserved in its original state, it can be quite inconvenient at times, and it is not a luxurious hotel where everything is provided. 　Instead, I believe there is no better place than Naramachi to soak up the ‘comfortable rustic’ atmosphere that permeates the town.We provide books in the room and a vegetarian breakfast in the hope that this environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the station, will help guests ‘reflect and recover’.(You can purchase almost all of the books in the room.) 　Please spend tonight in the tranquillity of the Nishimura residence and Nara-cho, listening to the voice of your own heart.

The nearest stations are Ryukoku-daimae Fukakusa Station on the Keihan Railway (1.3 km, 17-minute walk) and Inari Station on the JR Line (1.5 km, 20-minute walk). We have started a free pick-up service upon arrival at Kyoto Station. The meeting point at Kyoto Station is about a 4-minute walk from the station. Of course, we will also provide transportation to Kyoto Station after check-out. We do not offer transportation services to tourist attractions, so if you wish to travel by car, please use Uber Taxi. It will arrive quickly and is convenient. However, we will flexibly provide free transportation to the nearest station on a daily basis, so please rest assured.
