Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nantucket Island

We had an amazing stay at Duck Duck Goose for a bachelorette! The house was well decorated and looked exactly like the pictures; we were pleasantly surprised at how open the living/dining area was. We had one small issue and Cail arrived almost immediately to help. The location of the house was nice because you could walk to town, but it was pretty busy on the streets in front and behind, making it difficult to come and go and tough to pick up Ubers. Otherwise, everything about the house was perfect and would definitely stay again!

I would highly recommend Jennifer’s home to anyone visiting Nantucket!! The location is truly second to none—just a short walk from the ferry, restaurants, and the shops downtown, with stunning views of the ocean and harbor, and directly across the street from a great beach. The house was very clean, and came with plenty of toiletries and towels. Jennifer was an excellent host, communicating clearly and kindly throughout our stay. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

Our family of five absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous home. We all slept so well in the deluxe beds and made lots of memories playing games in the living rooms. The kitchen was well stocked and very fun to cook in. We loved using the grill, and the back patio is so picturesque. My kids loved using the house’s sound system. The house is EVEN BETTER in person than in the photos. We didn’t want to leave. The decor is very chic. The home should be featured in magazines!! The location is so convenient. The home is surrounded by homes from the 18th and 19th centuries- so cool!! We hope to return soon. Thank you!!

Wonderful stay! While cozy, the unit is larger and even more beautiful than it appears in the pictures. There was a lovely spot beneath the stairs for a pack and play for our baby (that isn’t shown in pictures). The unit was spotless and felt extremely clean. Having access to a washer and dryer was extremely helpful given the beach trips and having a baby. The best part was how walkable the apartment was from town. If you are new to the area it is absolutely worth spending extra (although Kate’s prices are quite reasonable!) to be a walkable distance from town. She had comfortable beach chairs, a cooler, and umbrella available as well as beach towels. Kate was a fantastic host, responsive, and wonderful with our young daughter. We would 100% stay again!

Ryan is an extremely attentive host, and Under the Sea was fantastic! Space was exactly as shown and met our needs perfectly. Bummed we had to cut our trip short, hope to return in summer. Thank you so much Ryan!

Loved staying in this house! It's a very charming older house with incredible vibes, just an easy jaunt to Jetties. We will absolutely be trying to stay here in the future.

Viktoriya’s place makes you feel right at home. It was the perfect place during Nantucket Stroll, being away from the congestion of downtown. Was a warm and cozy winter getaway!

Jill’s house was the perfect home base for our family vacation. The house was spotless, toddler-friendly, and ideally located. Jill was incredibly responsive to all my questions and provided clear, easy-to-follow check-in and check-out instructions. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, close to town but tucked into a neighborhood to make you feel like you're a local. Spacious, clean, private apartment with everything you need. Very nice accomodating hosts with recommendations and great communication. Large yard, we were able to enjoy and feel like we were at home. Nantucket was beautiful, having the perfect place to stay really made for a perfect week on the island.

Rachael’s apartment is a perfect, conveniently located home base for a stay in Nantucket. The space is spotless and all of the furniture and amenities appear to be new. You are walking distance from Cisco Brewery, Miacomet Golf Course and Bartlett Farms. And Racheal is an extremely friendly and helpful host. Can’t go wrong!

The whole family was super kind and friendly! Everything was to our liking and I am hopeful to return someday with my husband and kids! Home was well stocked in the welcome basket was a nice touch.

Awesome location which made it an easy bike ride into town or Cisco Beach. Very cool loft above the Market and the food from the food truck was tremendous. Walking distance to Cisco Brewery as well. Would definitely like to stay here again.

Perfect spot and great location! My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It’s a 8 min bike ride into town, very clean and so peaceful and quiet. We would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Noddy and would highly recommend! The location is so perfect, right in town yet tucked away so it feels private. It’s right across from the bus station so you can easily access the whole island. Kerstin was very responsive and accommodated an early check-in as well as helped store our bags when our flight was delayed.

Angela’s place was absolutely ideal. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. What we loved most, though, was the location! We were able to walk and bike everywhere, and had easy access to The Wave public transportation to explore the area. Angela also had beach chairs and umbrellas available, which made our beach days so easy and enjoyable. We’re already planning our next stay. Could not recommend this place more!

Susan’s Airbnb was beautiful, clean, and had everything you would need. She left plenty of information on things to do and places to eat for your stay on the island. The Airbnb is within biking distance into the town of Nantucket and other surrounding areas. It also is in a great location for using the public transportation around the island. I would highly recommend staying at Susan’s!

This property is located conveniently, an easy walk to shops, restaurants, the harbor, etc. The place is comfortable and the bed was great. The parking place is a huge plus.

This Airbnb is perfect for two people who will not be spending much time at the Airbnb. We had a busy wedding weekend so it was perfect for sleeping. Very clean. I will say, you can hear the family above since it is below a lived in home. Hosts were very kind & let us store our luggage for the day after check out and check in slightly early, both were great help.

My husband and I were in Nantucket for the first time we were so impressed with how clean the place was. Winnie and her husband were wonderful host. I will recommend there place to anyone traveling there.

This was an ideal place to stay during our visit to Nantucket. It was in easy walking distance to downtown and Chris gave us numerous recommendations of places to go that were excellent (be sure to go to the Whaling Museum!). Chris was extremely responsive when we had a couple questions after arrival. I highly recommend this condo!

Incredible little place a half mile or so from town. Close enough for a casual walk but far enough out of the mix to get some peace and quiet at night. It felt like a home away from home, cozy and well furnished. 10/10 will stay here again.
