The suite is a newly renovated, tastefully decorated, one bedroom basement suite, in a 1927 character home. Complete with all modern appliances, as well as some antiques added to enhance its charm. The ceiling is 6 '4" ( 1.93M) so if you play basketball this may not be a good match for you. Very centrally located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from the seawall and marina, walking distance to DT shopping, restaurants, pubs, Art Gallery, Port Theater, etc. 1 block to bus stop, 2 min. drive to ferry.

Come stay in our new lovely above ground basement suite. We live above with our 3 young kids and noise should be expected between 8am-11pm. This probably isn't for you if you're looking for a serene, romantic getaway. It's comfortable, A/C, has a fabulous view, is centrally located for island adventures. Nestled in gorgeous hillside, space for outdoor gear, kitchen with induction cooktop, private laundry, Wifi etc. Adjacent to another AirBNB suite and not suitable for kids. Hope to see you soon!

Great private one bedroom lower floor suite which qualifies under new regulations. Parksville/Qualicum, have the best beaches on Vancouver Island. This suite has large windows that look out at a field, rabbits, deer, and mountains. Beautiful 2.5 acre property with walking trails near by. Englishman river and Rathtreavor beach are a 5 min drive away. Great kayaking and scuba diving. Central island location, see Tofino one day and Victoria another. EV charger with adaptor for all vehicles.

1 Bedroom suite with 2 double beds, a full kitchen, living room with a 40 inch TV and a dinnihg table. A washer and dryer and a full 3 piece washroom is in the suite. EV charger available for additional charge. The location is in south Nanaimo. We are a 15 minute drive from downtown and the Airport, 10 minutes from Duke Point and about 10 minutes from VIU. Nanaimo River Park is a short drive away. Cedar is 10 minutes away. There is transit near by with a walk from the bus stop.

Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

Amazing stay at Monica's, the place was exactly as described and very comfy, felt at home. Appreciated the flexibility with check in and out and how clean and spacious. Monica thank you for the wine chocolates and Nanaimo bars they were a nice treat! We will definitely book in the future

we enjoyed our stay, accommodation was spacious with good amenities. A short walk to supermarket and a few eateries. The bus stop was a five minute walk away with a short ride in both directions, to town to catch the ferry, visit the museum or just check out the old part of town and the mall in the opposite direction with its foodcourt and fantastic array of shops. A fifteen minute walk to the hopital. plenty of walking opportunities on the doorstep. The only downside for us was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Thank you Jessica for the home baked loaf, it was enjoyed immensely.

What a wonderful stay at Brianna’s little piece of heaven! We were on Thetis for our brother’s wedding, and our stay here was so relaxing and peaceful, everything we needed and more. Brianna went out of her way to make the 4 of us comfortable and saved the day with an iron, so the guys could be wrinkle free after travelling from Ontario lol So many kind gestures and thoughtful touches, made our stay here memorable! Nothing compares to morning coffee, overlooking the pasture, with the distant sounds of the animals waking for their day as well. Salty their dog was so sweet, the most well behaved dog we’ve ever come across. Thank you Brianna and family for a spectacular stay, we’ve already recommended you to everyone we’ve talked to!! If we’re ever back to the island, you’ll definitely see us again 😊

It was really lucky for our family to stay at Laurie's place during our stay on Vancouver Island. Laurie was super responsive and extremely kind. The house itself was much more beautiful than I expected. Everything in the house was very new and clean. We took full advantage of Laurie's house. We traveled north and south easily. Moreover, there were so many local grocery shops, restaurants, and famous parks. We had wonderful memories at Laurie's place. Thank you Laurie!
