Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nagara River

Used for 8 people staying. There were 3 bedrooms and the bedding was clean, so it was very comfortable. There are also two washrooms and two hand washrooms, so you can stay with large groups without any problems. There were also a lot of dishes and cooking utensils, so it was easy to use. One thing to note is that the walls are painted like stucco, but when I touched them, the powder came on.(If you wash it, it will fall off) I thought it would be more kind to have a note of caution. After I finished using it, they came to see me off, and they handled it very politely. I want to use it again.Thank you very much.

Takashi’s place is wonderful and so peaceful! The village and its people are very welcoming. And the ramen meal in Kikyoya was amazing. Nakasendo Way with its shogunate history is easy and quick to get to by car from Takashi’s place. Renting a car was very easy and is well worth doing for discovering the area. We were fortunate to have found Takashi’s gem of a place on Airbnb. He is a great and kind host, who truly cares for his guests.

Loved staying by the Itadori river, the village is by no means touristy, in fact the opposite, one tiny shop opposite the property, a couple of eating places but they were closed, but in saying that it was great to wander round a "real village", spotted a troop on monkeys up at the village shrine, there was also great bird wildlife. The river valley is absolutley beautiful, we loved the small balcony looking over the river. The place was absolutely spotless and vey well equipped. A car is really needed. It is by a road, although not busy there was a little noise in the early morning but I would certainly stay again.

Best Airbnb we have stayed in by far! Not your typical Airbnb. Christian and his wife take care of you like a family guest. They drive you places, help you plan your stay, cool breakfast, share their sake, and makes reservations plus more! They are so friendly and nice! The house is gorgeous! Just as pictured. Modern bathrooms with old Japanese feel throughout. We did the soba and the pottery - loved both! Thank you for all!

It was a great stay experience, the host was very attentive in every way, and a lot of small items after our stay greatly improved our stay.The host was also very nice and provided us with suggestions for tours around the area and restaurants (the restaurant was not being renovated haha).It was raining the day we went, and it was impossible to see the rain in front of the house.Overall an awesome experience!

We had a little trouble getting there by train… but as soon as we arrived, our worries disappeared. We were greeted by Miwa's mother who was immediately very kind and inviting. She gave us a tour of the accommodation with explanations. She only speaks a little English, but she used her phone to translate for us, which was very much appreciated. During the rest of the stay, she was always available to answer our questions. We also did business with her for the rental of electric bicycles, a very pleasant activity. On our last night, Miwa's mum even came to offer us a homemade dessert. The accommodation itself is a traditional house that is too cute and very spacious. In short, a great experience, we loved it. ❤️

This was our first family trip to Japan, and staying at Koto House made it even more special. The location is fantastic — just behind a 7-eleven and surrounded by great food options, which made everything so convenient. The house itself is beautifully organized, with everything clearly labeled, so we never had to waste time searching for anything. We absolutely loved the cozy layout, and it felt like a true home away from home. Our kids, aged 5 and 9, had a wonderful time as well. We would definitely recommend Koto House and look forward to staying here again on our next visit!

It’s located in a peaceful neighbourhood in Shinsakae-machi, walkable to the station within 6mins. One station away from Sakae (main district). Not much restaurants around— mostly are western or fine dining restaurants. There’s 7/11 beside the apartment. The apartment is clean and it got all the utilities/stuff you need except toothbrush. Overall we loved our stay here!

Good location, not far from the subway and JR, just over a kilometer to Namba; there are several large supermarkets around, so you don't have to worry about not having food if you come home late.The room is clean and tidy, the room is already large, the bed is also relatively large, the check in/out process is also very simple, in short, all aspects are good

It is very close to Yuya Odori Station, take a walk to Sakae Station and turn on the Higashiyama Line is also ok, you can walk to the central power tower and oasis 21, the room is very comfortable, there is also a space where you can hang your clothes, the bathroom is also quite large, the kitchen can be self-catering, the refrigerator is cold enough, there is also a large balcony, the only thing is that I hope that I can provide a nightstand or a table next to the bed, it will be 100 minutes.👍🏻👍🏻

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and clean airbnb during a trip to Nagoya with my daughter. The early check in allowed us to easily move in after checking out from a nearby hotel. The hosts provided us with an extra bed after a simple request. The large monitor/TV, connected to my laptop using the USB-C and HDMI cables in the apartment, was great! I could do some work while the movable movable partitions created a separate bedroom.

Great experience! Staying near Nagoya University is also very safe. There are two subway lines nearby, the Motoyama Line and the Meijo Line, which can go to many places ~ There is also a delicious Furaifan nearby, and I highly recommend their chicken wings. Common spaces have a shared kitchen, iron and washing machine available for guests to use. But the shower in the room is small and not very convenient. Everything else is worth recommending

Summer is great! The location was perfect for shopping and fun restaurants. It was perfect for us, very clean and comfortable. I actually felt. very lucky to find a place where we were so close to so much. Highly recommend 💞

The place is very clean, neat and tidy. Has really good quality amenities including an espresso machine, a dryer room. It's very easy to find as it appears on the map directly when you put House Nozomi Hayashi San is very responsive and looked into one of our concerns immediately. It's near a bus stop with multiple buses going into the town. Katsuragawa station is about 1.5 KM, so bit of a walk when you have luggage or are tired. But we got cabs fairly easily. Do your research on places you want to travel to in Kyoto so you can see if the location works for you. In terms of convenience, lots of shops, supermarkets etc are available. It feels spacious. It would have been better to have access to the wardrobe, but we had a short stay so we did not mind living out of our suitcases. Overall good place, good amenities, location is good but that's subjective. Good, professional host.

Great value for a quiet stay in a traditional neighborhood just off the subway line. Easy access to rest of city. Apartment was spacious and provided a traditional Japanese living experience. Would stay again.
